I Disagree
Break up is the Only solution
Remember when the government said an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the North.
Now we have Shittes
Very soon Saudi Arabia and Iran would be
fighting a war in Nigeria via Proxy
If the government says no to restructuring then Break up is the Only solution

Even within Nigeria some Igbo are fighting for their own different communities, writing to state government pp

I can only imagine what will be happening after you successfully secede from Nigeria

Case of Sudan!

Everybody thought was going to have the bigger issues after break up, but today, The South all hoped on are still decimating themselves till date.

How will government said "attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the north"?

Do you care to show us where the government made such statement?

Buhari once made the statement and today, he is your president. What does that tell you? Buhari is a boko haram apologist and you can't expect him to fight his people.

So suddenly, you, a Yoruba man is now feeling concerned about the Igbo?

What I have never understood is why the Yoruba is afraid of charting its own course? Why are they so fixated on one Nigeria?

Buhari faults crackdown on Boko Haram
JUNE 3, 2013

Presidential candidate for the Congress for Progressive Change in the 2011 Presidential election, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has frowned on the emergency rule in parts of the North. He alleged that innocent civilians were being killed in the states.

Buhari speaking during a Liberty FM Hausa Service Programme, Guest of the Week, on Sunday in Kaduna said that Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished unlike the “special treatment” given to the Niger Delta militants by the Federal Government.

Why learn from Sudan and South Sudan and Somalia?

Why can't we learn from Switzerland, Norway and, lately, the UK who are thriving individually without joining (and leaving) an unworkable experiment?

As a true citizen of the country I first see myself as a Nigerian before I think of myself as an Anambra man before I even accept to be referred to as Igbo.
if we all can have this mentality then peace, unity and progress will be established in the nation.

This is quite interesting.
So please indicate those unique features that make you a Nigerian. Those qualities that are ‘Nigerian’ in nature. At least we know the Americans share a common type of English, migration history, common pre-migration experiences in Europe.

Please mention some of those qualities & experiences that are peculiar to the Nigerian identity.

I’ll wait.

oga so its only sudan u could think of that divided and have internal issues. what of other countries that divided and are prospering after their internal problem. there must always be internal issues after division after which they settle and prosperity begins. even at family level there exist issues but doesnt mean it wont settle and prosper. naija problem is our greedy leaders who are extremely dishonest with their statements when they are in position of leadership and when they are not

If you will remain the best beneficiaries after the break up, then why are you all so afraid of it to the extent that you almost shit in your pants when it is mentioned?

Let me tell you why the Yoruba is so afraid of break up.

They know that if Igbo should leave today, invariably south south would leave too.

Now, all the IOCs that generate almost all the IGR through taxes that Yorubas make noise with will leave as well. They will all relocate their head quarters to the niger delta.

Also, the Lagos port which is made busy by the Igbos via their importation business will become almost non functional. The IGR that the port generates will reduce drastically.

When all these IGRs stop coming and "oyel money" stops coming too, the Yoruba will become as poor as their northern partners in crime.

The above is the only reason Yorubas are so afraid of break up.

I'm just stating the obvious

Yoruba is never afraid of charting its own course, but many of us just see it as unnecessary and we are still hopeful Nigeria is going to get better

What every region should be fighting for is resources control but if shove come to shove, and we have no other option we will secede

Many people don’t know that Singapore separated from Malaysia after their independence.
The earlier we have the separation of this dysfunctional union, the better for everyone.
