DannyJ7717:Sorry for the late reply. @DannyJ7717, I think the answer to Q-1 also applies to you. As per the list of Canadian universities offering Msc in Biotechnology, you can extend your research to University of Windsor, Brock University, Queen's University, McGill University, etc.. Megatronn:Hi Q1) To secure a partial/full funded scholarship from MUN, you have to search through the university offical website and be able to secure a supervisor in your department/area of speciality who will accept you to work under his/her laboratory. You have to send across a research proposal detailing your research interest, some of your academic achievements, grades during your undergraduate, awards, and publications relevant to your proposed research area as well as why you feel you're qualified to be accepted in the lab and confirming if there is available space in the lab for the term you plan to begin your studies in the university. Q2) You can't sponsor yourself with funds gotten from a sport betting because it's not a steady source of wealth. If you plan to do so, I would advise you include a co-sponsor to your application, preferably an immediate family member which include parents, siblings, uncle or aunt. In your SOP you shouldn't declare that the funds in your account was gotten from a sport betting as this would be a red flag to your application, you can claim the funds were gotten from a sold property or business. With that being said, documents to ascertain your claims must be included with your application. |

Jaylap:You shouldn't only rely on the study leave approval letter. A good and very persuasive SOP would help your case. In your SOP/LOE you're expected to explain in detail the lucrativeness, reasonableness, and career benefits of the program upon your return to Nigeria whether it's financially rewarding that can offest the cost and investment made in the program in Canada. The range of career options available for you and the high employment prospects as well as the huge demand for professionals in your career field etc... |
