The drop in rates of Tbills is a reflection of the govt purse. It implies the govt has more money in July than in January to carry out their projects. That people should spend their money and stop keeping it. Of course spending it in business. I predict the economy will pick up. Sales will rise. |

civilserva:Yes they do, but how to safely move huge funds to Ghana is a concern. I know of someone in US that tour between Argentina and Mexico for TBs investments.Pegging inflation rate with Nigeria TBs rate doesn't match up. If TBs is undersubscribe, I'm sure cbn will increase rates. The bills are always highly oversubscribed, hence the rate cuts continue |

Please guys help me calculate this amount I invested 1 million on first bank TB primary market for 180 days o but they did not inform me that it went successful is later I find out that they pay me 50000 only I thought they suppose to pay me more than that and i bid 10 percent o |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nettuno: 12:47pm On Aug 03, 2019 |
Dunkofia20:50k should be correct. 10% of 1 million is 100k for one year (364 days). Since your bid was for 6 months (182 days), it will be half of 100k = 50k. Experts can clarify more... |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Akin3891: 12:51pm On Aug 03, 2019 |
Dunkofia20:Your intrests is on point for 180 days, the rate given to you is slightly beyond 10%. 10% should be around 48k including bank charges. Go ahead enjoy your earnings and don't forget to always come back for more |

Dunkofia20:Rate/100 = x Number of days bid/364 = y Capital invested= z Bank charges = q Interest = x*y*z (-q) |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by igbizen(m): 4:38pm On Aug 03, 2019 |
Rate/100= 10/100=0.1 Number of days bid/364 = 182/364 = 0.5 Capital = z = #1,000,000 Bank charges= q Interest =0.1*0.5*#1,000,000 (-q) = #50000-q |

I expected everyone to be talking about the tbill rate someone mentioned is available in Ghana and how possible it is for us to invest frm here |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by RealityShot: 2:56am On Aug 05, 2019 |
michaelogunleye:first we need to know the rates and banks that have Nigerian branch, which can do the investment there. Then, the minimum investment. Then the conversion rate, so as to determine profitability. |
