Pogba should reject their offer even if they finally reach a reasonable amount- just to tell them to shove it up where light doesn't reach.

I don't like Lingard. I believe that he's not United's first 11 material. But he's here, so I will have to put up with him.
The only change I'll make in that line up is Greenwood for DJ. Then push Martial to the LW and Rashford upfront. Then when the opponent is getting tired, I'll bring DJ to push them back.
They can interchange at will though...

I don’t think Lingard is first XI material either but Ole will have to make do with what he’s got. Plus I don’t think we need to have stars in every position to excel. There should be a good balance of age, talent and work rate.

I’d start DJ over Greenwood at the moment because he is more exposed to the pressure of top tier football. I don’t want to rush Greenwood. I’d prefer he and Gomes come in from the bench.

And yeah, Rashford for Martial in that lineup works. They all swap positions by the way so it’s all cool.

Jones did not start his career as a DM. He was a CB who had stints at DM for both Blackburn and Manchester United.
However for both clubs he started as a CB. Anyway he is no longer the energetic but relatively composed player of those days. Injury and Father Time have eroded his abilities.
