It took me 4 days.
Went to post office did the verification, bought a german line, opened N26, got my IBAN, sent it to fintiba, fintiba acknowledged the verification. Then my first instalment was in my account before noon on the 4th day.

From an Aboki in Apapa Lagos. I stay in ph tho, but Lagos is cheaper. I got the contact from my colleague at the bank, negotiated with him, my colleague in Apapa branch confirmed the cash and I did the transfer.

Euro is really going down, it might get cheaper.

I don't have an admission letter yet but I suspect from my correspondence with the school (Augsburg, MSc) that I could get one soon. Trying to see if I can get ahead considering the enrollment is between Sept 23 and Sept 25 and programme starts October 14th. Pls help. Thank you! ...

Is it possible the system recognizes a person that has cancelled and reapplied over and over like more than twice?
What causes a ban from the embassy?

I'm asking because I booked on the 2nd of July with Oct 15 as deadline, rebooked on the 30th of July with Nov 20th as deadline bhu i ticked Scholarship, I got a date the next day for Oct30 bhu bosses advised me to cancel and rebook as I would be turned back. I then reapplied on Aug 1 at 4:30am with Nov 15 as deadline. Someone here rebooked the same day but with Nov 29 as deadline and got a date today while I havent.

I am most confused right now. I don't know what to do. Should I wait? should I rebook again. If I rebook, hope the system won't detect me

Even if I'm to rebook, what date should I use now

Although my enrollment deadline on my AL is Oct 31st buh I can enroll online..pls hope this won't b an issue for me on d interview day!!

Stop being anxious. You are letting people define you. You know what you want, book it. When you booked November 20th, you should have not ticked scholarship. Look at the trend of those getting AD and decide for yourself once and for all. I pray you get date soonest.

Are you within Abuja catchment area when you book? I got a Masters AL that has Sept 30 as enrolment deadline, dont know if I can give Abuja a try since AD is not forthcoming in Lagos.

No it won't. Funding before interview is highly recommended so as to prevent any delays. So long as you already have AD

Go on the German consulate website. there's a list of states that covers for Abuja. If your location is not among that list i.e your AL doesn't carry an address from any of those areas, please don't tick Abuja before you get bounced. Also your interview location is at the embassy's discretion. There are people who live in Abuja and ticked the box but got AD in Lagos.

bro better use December 10 to get a date, that Nov 15 was a mistake. each day the bar gets higher to get a date.
a friend used December 10 this morning and got a date (Oct 28 or so) under 3 hrs

Please be careful using zenith bank(You could be robbed just like me), i funded using form A at 409.7/euros in june 2019, i will advise you use other banks but not them except you are financially strong

It's because you used Form A. It's been said that Form A issa scam, the rate is usually higher than black market rate.
if you go through the dorm account route (buy euro, fund a euro dorm account and transfer to BA) i don't think there should be an issue
