are you sure your school isnt on the pilot visa program? cos its faster for the 23 schools listed on the application

One way ticket is usually too expensive, sometimes more costly than return, if you buy your ticket now you can get a return date of June 2020 and move it further to 2021 few weeks before the June date expires, but you will have to pay a rebooking fee

Please did you submit your academic qualifications and bank statement? My school is on the pilot scheme as well, I just want to be sure. I was advised by the school rep to include them even though the pilot scheme says I'm not required to. Were you also interviewed as well?

Yes I submitted my certificate that was already verified by my school before issuing me CAS.

My automatically generated check list after submitted my application did not require that I present a financial doc/ bank statement but still submitted one just to stay safe as advised by experts on this platform.

I was interviewed albeit short compared to the guys that went in before me, 8 minutes actually!

Honestly my advice to everyone is to take advice on this platform seriously and be honest when filling in the application because If you are caught trying to be funny 10years ban is real!

They don’t have wahala especially if you have your ducks in a line, their rejection rate is pretty low, like 3%.

So give it your best shot and wishing you best of luck.

Hi everyone, I’ve been a silent follower of this thread and I feel it’s good I post this.
I had my biometrics and credibility interview done on July 31 at TLS Abuja using the Premium services. The interview was just for about 12 minutes with only 4 major questions asked ; 1. “Why did you choose the school?” 2. “Why did you choose the course?” 3. “What are your future career plans after your studies?” and 4. “Why did you choose the UK?”. These were in addition to the basic questions of date of birth, level of course, course start date and name of school.
I know the interview process is different for each individual but a friend had his own few days ago and he spent about 40 minutes in the interview and was asked all manner of questions you can ever imagine. Is it a good sign I was asked only few questions and not drilled for much questions?

No, it doesn’t have to be a GBP card, any NGN card that supports international web payment would do. I used GTB Master card for both my NHS and Visa fees.
I also added letter of financial capability (Reference letter) from my bank in addition to my bank statement (which is in my name). Even though it is not compulsory but just had to add it in order to be on the safer side to avoid back and forth.
