Mariangeles, remember to use very little oil if you are going to use normal frying pan. It ought to come out as puffy pancake kinda. No deep oil frying o

Yes I just buy the mix from Costco and add milk and eggs.
You can totally just use water without milk or eggs and it will turn out fine as well.

Sometimes the right kind of frying pan matters too. Nonstick good quality pans could make the difference. Also don't over heat the oil before pouring your batter
