while you were counting the downloading MB. Did it occur to you to count the upload MB?

Whenever you're using data it's exhaust both way which is downloading and uploading
Thats why sometimes you'll see phones with two arrow beside the network bar one going up and down

It's the uplink and downlink and both consumes data

I no about uplink and downlink. But do you want to tell me that I will have an uplink of 300Mb with Sync disabled while running a download of 1.6Gb?

Let me tell you more when the famous MTN simple server was server was working. I do have a downlink of about 5Gb and just 100Mb of uplink. The uplink was even this high because then I do a lot of uploads.

Am not in novice in these things. I have been using the internet since 07.

Because the environment is noisy

Hello house. I don't know what wrong with my RN7 battery. It does not last as it should. It was 99% when I unplug from the charger, now its on 89% without any usage at all.

Your network is consuming your battery. Change the network you are not using for data to 2G.

Switch to Glo if their network is stable in your end, I say so coz that's what I use personally. Forget about that whole talk of Glo being snail speed, that was then.

On the other hand, prepare to get a new Airtel SIM every 3 months in order to be eligible to get their added bonus. Contact genius43 how to go about that.

Least I forget, don't let anybody to deceive you into thinking MTN data is a better choice. Coz it'll zap like bugs bunny before you know.

Lol. Thanks anyway for the advice. Airtel is best in my area while Mtn is better, u see that Glo? No one have it in my area cos.

I changed Airtel SIM every 3months

Another font I love ( I use on my other android) but can't use on this phone is "energy". It scatters the lettering. You search for it same way in themes app. And choose the font
For more options. Under themes, search for aafonts or moby. It will bring out other options for you to select.
Jboixxx and Genius43, am I a fast learner?

True but mtn is also a data demon! This glo band 28 has transformed my life ehn, now mtn is just for backup. Using mtn as main data source is a risk factor for suicidal ideation
You will have to explain what you meant by "MTN is also a data demon" cos I don't understand.
Glo is a fantastic choice when it comes to allocated volume to price, but how good is their signal all over Nigeria? undecided
What's the joy in having large volume of data and being unable to use it?
I stick to MTN because they have been the most consistent not just on Internet connectivity alone but also on all services.
However, I use other ISP when the need arise. A good example is 9mobile; their internet connectivity works exceptionally well abeit very expensive.

Turn off Wifi and Bluetooth scanning. Just search for them in the settings

I think Airtel is way more consistent to even MTN now both in stability and speed

I still don't understand what's so special about the glo band 28.
Glo envisaged an upgrade in the future for 5g, hence the choice of the band. But 4g Never too strong for naija yet, thus questionable choice. Just like Nokia later dabbled into android os after low patronage on Windows os, Glo is test running band 3 supported by most 4g phones. Their coverage increases by the day. Stay tuned

.will stick with my Airtel at least I get 3gb plus 400 mb for 4g unlike MTN that zaps my data and slow compared to Airtel in speed

If what your screenshot says is true about your phone being last charged about 13 hours ago, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with your battery.

Mtn burns through my data like an oil tanker explosion. Yes mtn is better in general but if you're lucky enough to live in an area where glo is reliable like i do then glo is the cost effective choice.

I do get your point especially with the RN5 now looking obsolete design-wise, but the RN7 is not much of a step up with regards to performance and efficiency. I think a worthy upgrade should be the mi 9t.
Considering the AMOLED screen Mi9T has, the thought of screen replacement is an essential factor in my decision.

One of my reservation about upcoming Devices. They may create good and reliable devices. But the hard truth is that good devices alone doesnt make up a phone. Alot of things go in such as:

1 A stable OS
2 A user friendly interface
3 A very stocky or highly configurable User Interface
4 A large and well accepted platform that can be recognized by majority of other brands
5: A highly Secure and Unhackable Device
These are necessaries that go into a phone. When i see other brand users resorting to 3rd party apps to improve their phone interface..... Nevertheless Thumbs up to Xiaomi for Becoming so great in such a short while
Lol! I hope this your post nr dey try insinuate say Xiaomi dey try for phones but their software nr reach? The person u quote dey all after launchers, and anything e talk dey purely personal. Some like IPhone like feel, some Samsung, some stock Android, while some like me personally hate launchers. Another thing be say, someone like me never ever like any Samsung interface before apart from the current one ui, doesn't mean Samsung has always had a bad OS. After weighing both, I personally still think say miui overall still dey better than One ui (sounds biased but true IMO). Truth b say many ppl nr even know wetin miui fit do even after using their phones for years, I see a lot of them using third party apps for wetin their phones already get.

Guys I need serious advice. Just don't know what to do. The last time I charged my phone was around 9pm last night. The problem is, my battery is still in 67%. How can a day pass without charging my phone?? Is it wise?
