lol I catch you grin
You just told me where you are by posting that yoghurt brand.
You are not in Nigeria,yes?
Ok now that that is done with,do I tell you where you are? cheesy
Soticam(lebanese) is the company that owns that brand and it is being produced in 2 countries.
Now I heard they now export to Nigeria but that packet and that of the Nigerian own seem different,so I know what you have at hand might not be the Nigerian type of it.
Correct me if I'm wrong though but I think I might know exactly where you are cheesy

Dinner with family friends last night.

I’m that nice aunty that loves to cook and feed everyone but I’m also the annoying aunty that makes everyone wait until I’ve taken my pictures before they can eat.

Look at those hands jumping in the moment I said “pictures are done you can eat now”. grin

The oxtail and jollof rice were my favorite.
Others preferred the egusi and assorted pepper soup.
Each to their own. That’s why I gave them options.

Aww, my picky eater eats only egusi and oha soup everyother soup is a no no
While my son doesn't eat swallow at all.
Most times I ran out of ideas for them and feel frustrated cooking twice ( mostly dinner)
I have an older friend, she should be in her 40s, she makes the best and most delicious soups especially being from Akwa I bom and all the tasty vegetable soup dishes. The weird thing is that she would always cook the soup, make swallow for others, serve herself only soup and leak hers. She would never eat any swallow

Boiled ripe plantain

Then for the sauce

I used a lil g. Oil in frying my cabbage, carrots, peas and corn, then added a lil stock water from the chicken, added salt and Knorr cube, Left it to heat for like 5 mins.

Besides, those are fried chicken necks

First of all, I steam my chicken with onion, ginger, bay leaves, curry powder, seasoning cubes (knorr chicken), salt and water just at the same level as the chicken.

When it's done, I separate the chicken from the stock.
Then I blend some fresh peppers ( scotch bonnets) together with half a medium sized onion with a manual blender.
After that, I put the pot that I used in steaming the chicken back on heat, I add about one cooking spoon of chicken fat from the stock or cooking oil, then the pepper-onion blend, I stir, add the steamed chicken, then stir continuously till well mixed .

That's it !
