Good day everyone, sincerely I must commend you guys.
It's almost a week I joined and I took my time to really understand how it works. I have read the FAQ like thrice. I will really appreciate someone's contact for whatspp PLEASE! It will be strictly qa because I finally took my first job and I was scored 1.it was really disheartening. I do take my time to do things and I don't like failing at anything I do. Pls, once I get hang of it I will back off the whatapp page. From my transcript flag, it says rep to rep. I asked the question how to differentiate between rep and customer. Please, I want to know before taking another call. I aim for 5 but I will hold on till someone comes through. Please...!
I have read through the threads back and forth, watch videos and all please I need a one on one. Please.
If they are having a personal life discussion from the start of the call to half of it, it's most likely rep to rep.
You won't really understand the FAQ properly till you make mistakes grin that's when you get the context of instructions.
Consult the FAQ while you're working, at least till you don't have to do that every day (can't remember when last I had to really consult the FAQ)
As a rule for success, read through Slack regularly, no one there likes or enjoys repeating an answer, so scroll through and you'll learn from what others are being told.
You can also search Slack or search keywords in the FAQ for ease and convenience.
I'm still learning some things despite working for months on the platform.
Google is key in deciphering brand names for the easier calls, you'll get a markdown if you write iPhone as Iphone or ending a question that end with an "or" with question mark

True. I failed like fool. I was thinking I was smart. Because I have a gig on Fiverr (transcription), but I was failing here. I was depressed. I got annoyed and quit. But as a man that doesn't like being beaten, I stayed and developed myself. Now I'm beating qa.

What did I do?
- Erase every thought of meeting target; cos other guys here dey make the money. I dropped my target, which was $6 a day to just getting a good rating, for a start.
- pick short calls(I started with 3 mins, then 5, now I can do 10 mins.
- Read the FAQ well, as well as the sample Transcript, common mistakes, and ratings guidelines.
- picked only good calls. Now I can do FC....UK
- I used PC, cos that's what's favours me.
- Also I asked questions here, and I got answers.

Mostl importantly, I made myself see that this is not a quick money scheme, and I'll have to grow in it.

I created the SA PAYPAL business account with a Nigerian IP address but I couldn't sign-up with a Nigerian phone number or address, says, "sorry..." and I can't link a Nigerian debit card because South Africa only has a four digit postcode. What do I do?

I don't really understand what u are trying to say.

Have u created the sa paypal already or u want to create it but it's saying "sorry..." ?

I don't have problem with punctuations or gramnar. Atm it is to differentiate between rep and customer. Again, when I click on save, edits and statements, the words/sentences shows up automatically. Am I to edit and replace or what.
Sincerely, someone should spare me one hour.

For now u should not be afraid of getting low ratings. Focus on very short calls and if u are marked down, take note of what the rating note says, and find out where u made mistake from ur rating note. If u can't figure out where u made mistake from anyone of us here or on slack...

Don't be afraid of taking calls because of fear of low rating...

grin you're to edit to the appropriate label. Hopefully your punctuation and grammar on transcription is just as good.

I think sentences that are showing up automatically are of the previous person that transcribed it and failed .

Sometimes, too, another way to know Rep to Rep, is if the are mentioning other peoples names, etc. There was a Rep to Rep call, I stumbled upon last night. Even the SCC was confused about it. She advised me to release it to avoid stories that touch.

Anyways, when in doubt, the SCC is your best bet.

That is not correct. Several time, I've had to start from beginning of a call I was unable to finish, and it never gave me, what I transcribed earlier.

Hi..I am on a very long call now(8 hours long) but along the beginning of the call after the Rep has introduced herself, the person that picked the call dsid she was from the advisers side before she later handed the phone to the customer for the rest of the call. My question is do I transcribe the advisor under customer or rep?

I don't want to get a 1 because of this after that much time. Thanks

That's a rep. All affiliates are labeled as rep. The 8 hours is probably the time allocated for the completion.

I did a 20 minutes home call, guess what, there was a discussion of personal life for about 8! Whole minutes out of 20 but it was a valid call grin just that the rep and the customer had an existing work relationship.
The only reason I got that call was because who ever picked it has concluded it wasn't a valid call or may be rep to rep

I once worked on a call, I'd finished transcribing, just proofreading and time got exhausted the call was returned to the queue.

Give it time. I had same issue when I started. After some time, I could see the queue. I guess they're verifying the PayPal account or something. I'm not sure.

Yeah. I experienced that once or twice. Now, I check my time steady. If I'm proofreading and I see the time is almost up, I just submit the call. Can't come and suffer for another person to enjoy. undecided
Though, I've picked some calls that had previously been worked on and I only had to do minor corrections and submit... tongue
I've also picked a call I was working on, and time expired on me. I simply rush to the queue, refresh, pick that same call.and continue from where I stopped... cool
