The Yorubas need the Igbos to be President and the Igbo need the Yorubas.

Surely PDP will field a Northerner and when they do, if APC field a Yoruba they will fall into the hands of the PDP.

We all know the North likes power and will like to retain it.
Pdp might bring Kwakwaso and that game over for the Yorubas cause the north will vote him

For the west to have a shot, they need the east and the east need the west too.

The middle belt will go to the pdp cause of herdsmen issues, The south goes wherever the east goes. And we know that for the pdp.

So is last this If apc field a Yoruba Man...
They will only win the west and some few part of the north.
While the Pdp will claim the 70% of the North, 90% of the south and 95% of the east. There u have it.

So the south must work together if they if they are to win back the Presidency.

I know this is the work of GOD to bring the Igbos and Yorubas together.

The Igbo political elites don't hate Tinubu. His thirst for power and the way he used the Oba of Lagos in the 2015 Gubernatorial elections to threaten Ndigbo brought that skepticism.
If the APC presents an Igbo consensus candidate, the SE/SS in the PDP will drop the idea of supporting a northerner. Wike and his associates in the PDP are not fools to gift the north another 4 years when they've ruled for 8 years already.
The SW cannot eat her cake and have it. Tinubu is comnf out when others haven't tasted it. The SW have ruled for 8 years, they've had VP positions twice and Speaker thrice.
So on what ground are you jostling for Presidency this time around, when it was the same sympathetic cause you were gifted the Presidency in 1999.

Unfortunately the igbos lack anything to attract sympathy to themselves, especially on political grounds because of the extreme antagonistic position it has taken against northern political interests, and total rejection of the APC/Tinubu camp.

It will be a freezing day in hell the day the APC will even consider giving it's presidential ticket to the South East.

Bro, you don't understand the main issues of the equitable power shift arrangement. That power shift between the North and South is the bedrock of the gentleman's agreement. Specific region is not defined and there is room to negotiate. For example, if it is deemed to be the turn of the south then stakeholders in the South must work to produce those most eligible. In this case SS is out because GEJ from that region directly preceded Buhari and the SS can therefore not be called to replace PMB with the obvious reality they may get another 8 years in power to add to the 5 or 6 years GEJ enjoyed. Bear in mind Yorubas have not produced a President since 2007 and the Igbos not at all since our current democracy began in 1999.

This now leaves Igbo and Yorubas. To cut a long tale short, Yorubas made the APC. The APC will therefore not blink if it has to chose between a valued bloc that is electorally important (the SW) and a non-existent bloc that is politically worthless almost 100% i.e the SE. Stop being emotional and accept that action have consequences in life. The SE mocked Yorubas as "Fulani slaves" when we were working to strengthen the APC whereas Yoruba in turn told the Igbos to build bridges and not put all their eggs in the PDP basket. They did not listen and preferred to trade in insults and invectives. Today the Igbos have to sink or swim with the PDP. As simple as that. Seek the ticket of the PDP and they should give it to you if they truly believe it is your turn.

As for the APC, nothing for Igbos there. Same as you showed the Party that the SE has rejected it totally is how the Party will show loyalty for those who worked to put APC in charge of the centre and in control of Nigeria's direction.
Yoruba's contributed to the rise of the APC. True! Yoruba's have benefitted from that contribution. True also! I hope the north don't remind you of the positions you enjoyed come 2023.
Well, we know it was Tinubu who rebranded General Buhari with the change mantra and in part funded the party too. The north provided the voting strength to defeat the PDP.
Same also with the SE/SS states of Imo, Rivers and Edo whose Governors contributed their oil derivative budget to fund the war chest that defeated the PDP. Everyone contributed to the rise of the party. Right from the merger to the victory. Rochas faction of the merger didn't get the positions you got, maybe it was deliberate by Buhari and the cabals to gift them the Presidency. You'll never know yet!
Buhari and even the north knows the role played by all these stakeholders in delivering victory for the party in 2015. Yes, it is true that some regions acted the spoiler too which is understandable because of the influence of the PDP in those places. But would you now, because you've taken charge downplay the efforts of the likes of Rochas and Amaechi all because of greed. The north don't denigrate others, only the SW are good at doing this. Is this attitude natural or what? The south to a typical Yoruba means the SW. Everything that must come to the south, must be collected by the SW, greed!
The same APC from onset had used Imo state money to fund it's activities right from the merge of Okorocha's APGA faction. Yet, Imo state have been sidelined in the sharing of national positions. If any zone has been compensated fully in the APC, those zones are the NW/NE/SW. But in the south the SW have enjoyed the slot of even the SE. From Buhari's first term till now, you've always enjoyed key positions.
You've got the Vice President slot for two terms now. You had senior military position given to you, you also had minister of finance, works and other key executive position and now you have the speakership position. But still you're not content, greed! Even in the last elections, the SW didn't measure up to accountable votes for the APC, yet you weren't denied the juicy position of Buhari second term.
If you guys read the hands of the clock, it will tell you that the Presidential position you think will go to SW despite enjoying 8 years with Obasanjo and the VP position now will be a disaster come 2023. The best bet of getting a Southern presidency is an Igbo President. That same north you think got your back will remind you why you don't deserve the Presidency because you've ruled before since 1999. They will remind you why the NE and NC who haven't ruled since democracy deserve the shot before you.
The best bet of a southern President is an Igbo President which is the only part of the south left behind. Remove the greed from your eyes before you unknowingly gift the NE or even NC the slot. You don't know how the APC will play its card! The North vs South agreement is a PDP policy, the APC haven't told you if they will stick to that or if their own is a regional rotation which will first favour the NE before you.

But the south east said they don’t want the presidency in 2023. They said they will present Atiku or Sanusi in 2023 on the platform of PDP...their adopted party. So, why bother about who APC presents?

Ojukwu didn't sell his manifesto on the basis of what the average Igbo would benefit. Also the SE politicians then were indifferent about Ojukwu's candidacy, some felt he had no business running for Presidency, while another group felt his rise would upstage the Igbo political class eating fat from our collective purse. So many threw their votes behind the major parties. And even at that, most Igbo for the love for what he stands for gave him a large chunk of votes. Ojukwu at the end of the polls, acrrued a million votes and came third behind Buhari in 2003.
But this wasn't the first time Ojukwu is losing an election. Jim Nwobodo, the Governor of Anambra state under the NPP in 1982 federal House of Assembly elections for Nnewi constituency rigged in one unkown Edward Onwudiwe of the NPP as against Ikemba Ojukwu's NPN.
Well, throwing a vote behind a regional candidate is alien to Nigerian politics until Buhari emerged victorious in 2015. Buhari ended that odd.
For you to become President of Nigeria, on many occasions is not by the love your people have for you. Sometimes it takes, others to pick the most hated or most ridiculous candidate and make him President. It happened to Shagari in 1979 when he wasn't the popular candidate of the north but still got the ticket of the NPN. It also happened in 1999 when Obasanjo became President despite not being the choice of the SW. It was in 2003 that Obasanjo won the SW over after endearing himself to their heart. So in essence, your people mustn't like you before you assume leadership on their behalf.
If Rochas or Amaechi for instance is picked by the APC, their support base in the north, MB and SW can vote them as President. At the end, it becomes a t win for the APC and for the Igbo people.

At the end of the they will surport Yoruba man because no room for South east in in APC, they just want to try if it will work out how can you be expecting a party that you refuses to vote for to pick you as it flag bearer negative.

it has been proven that what may seem likely on paper isnt always so in the election.

Ask yourself would buhari (the incubent be interested in who bêcomes president after him) the anwer is yes he even said at a time pdp was surely not going to return after him.

Ask yourself would the president veto the activities of his party towards 2023 (the answer is yes buhari this month reiteratted his committment to party decisions more in his second term ).

This is all that matters, we all know buhari simply gave his party the freeway to participate in 2019 he was sure he was going to congratulate himself.

All apc needs is to forward osinbajo, the almost 50/50 voting in the west would go around 70% for apc especially lagos.

If buhari can get around 30% in east osinbanjo would do better as a liberal technocrat, dont forget the factor orji kalu brings in abia and rochas in orlu, in all the east has less than than 2million advantage to give a pdp fulani (lagos would cancel east).

In the middle belt a buhari can drag 50/50 how much more a librel christrisn technocrat osinbajo that would win kwara, kogi, fct, pleateu,

In the south south osinbajo would pick edo, and i am so sure delta would split with an omo agege district, akpabio destrict too at the end a liberal man with clout like yemi would dilute many votes here by atleast 40%.

In the north this would be the battle ground the plan is just to split northwest and northeast atleast 50/50.

A lot of federal might would be introduced just like kano, osibanjo already comes across as a humble servant for buhari that didnt give him issues.

Buhari die hard supporters still consist of these regions, he would have to canvass for yemi here, he would have to calm down those agrieved radicals northerners like in kano.

Las las people would wail and get used to the new goverment, na who inec announce be winner, i have seen the machineries put in place to wet the ground for work ahead 2023 and pdp hasnt even gotten past the tribunal of last election

m just laughing at what you put up there.
Apc will not win Akwa ibom, m from there.
There might get 40% in edo though.. Don't forget they lost edo in this year election.
You also forgot igbos consists of significant voters in Lagos.. SO I say Lagos will be 50/50
Buhari lost most of the middle belt states this year so I say.. The middle belt will go to Pdp 60/40

The people in the North love buhari and will only vote a buhari and since buhari is not on the ballot, forget it.. Kano goes to a Pep Kwakwaso... You forgot Kwakwaso have a considerable hold in kano. He can pull up at least 70 % votes there if he contest.

The North entirely will be 55/45 or 60/40 and will go to Pdp.

The only place Apc Is sure of winning is the west.

And for the east, in Imo in Particular, sorry Rochas ain't love there.
In Akwa ibom even akpabio lost his senatorial bid

I laugh each times the Yorubas talk about 2023 and how the Igbo will never rule.

If they reason well they will see we all need each other or we will fall together.

The north will retain the seat except the Igbos and Yorubas come to a Compromise.

You are right ,some Igbos are APGA while some are PDP.
You can contest for the presidency of BIAFRA on the platform of PDP or APGA forget APC abeg.
APC will never field a Biafran man as presidential candidate.
