First of all Atiku replied his tweet. How does that mean endorsing him? Secondly if he endorses him so damn what? How was he to know the guy is a Yahoo boy? Dumb idiots everywhere. Including the OP.

Hmmn.

There is no smoke without fire, let the FBI do their job. If he is indeed fraudulent, I'm sure the FBI will find out and Forbes will issue a statement in that regard because why? THEY HAVE A WORKING SYSTEM UNLIKE HERE IN NIGERIA.

he is not even charged yet and Nigerians are already embarking on social media trial. I'm sure Forbes performed background checks on him before publishing his name. So chill

Oga the FBI have concluded their investigation on him

They already released a statement on why he was arrested.

FBI just don't arrest any random person like the Nigerian Police.

cheesy how Atiku becomes a forensic financial auditor is beyond me.If Forbes couldn't do their diligence on the source of his income before he wast on their front page, how then does Atiku get blamed for highlighting achievements of youths.

Same with Elizabeth Holmes, the Theranos lady. Being featured on Forbes now is a no-no, they've lost credibility.

Nigerians be calling God whilst doing the most ungodly things.

Who is this donkey ? What do you knwo about Forbes? "Being featured on Forbes is a no no" See your ignorant useless mouth.

If you ask me I'll say Forbes is doing a great job. No one suspected those criminals, but immediately they made the Forbes list, they started drawing attention to themselves. Elchapo and Pablo drew unnecessary attention to themselves when they made the Forbes list.

Forbes takes your financial status and whatever story you feed them then publish it. Then when the FBI sees it they begin asking questions.

Forbes works with FBI, but their relationship is top secret.

Igbos have really given Nigeria a bad name all over the world. 99% of successful igbo men and women are fraudsters.

God will not forgive Lord Lugard for making me come from same country with this criminals.

Even the ones on NL are all scammers. I urge my fellow ladies never to associate with any igbo guy here. They are scammers criminals, they will eat and clean mouth.

Ogbeni, not that this issue is my busienss but FBI and Forbes no be mate at all! Between two of them, I guess FBI does MORE background checks than that cash and carry forbes.
Unlike efcc and Sars random guess work arrests. This guys does extensive profiling before hitting their target.

CuriousMynd:
Nigerians have dragged Forbes and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar over, serial entrepreneur Obinwanne Okeke who was arrested by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) over conspiracy to commit fraud of over $12 million.

Forbes had in 2016 listed the 31-year-old as one of “30 Entrepreneurs Under 30 to Watch”.

In July, 2014, Atiku Abubakar listed Invictus Obi as one of the largest private employer in the country.

The founder of Invictus Group was also named among 100 Most Influential Young Africans 2018.

The FBI has not pressed charges against Okeke, however, news of his arrest filtered in late Friday.

Nigerians on Twitter have taken swipes at Forbes and others, saying the financial magazine should have investigated the source of Okeke’s wealth before listing him as a model for young persons.

As Nigerians do we have a problem with crime in general or only when people are caught? Or you are blind to the fact that we have fraudulent youth stationed in virtually all universities in Nigeria? Are you just shallow and mentally lazy not to understand that bigotry is not a solution?

I don't like Atiku one bit, but in this case, he never endorsed Invictus Obi.

Rather, he was explaining to Obi that he (Atiku) has a lot of investment and that he (Atiku) is the largest private employer in Rivers. His failure to punctuate where necessary caused the misunderstanding.

One thing I have however noticed about Atiku is his perchance for avoiding the personal pronoun just to sound like a selfless man.

He only fools gullible people.

Exactly. How will Atiku know how he got and still gets his wealth. Atiku only praised his entrepreneurial abilities based on business he had established on ground. There are many them still being praised in our society just that they haven’t been caught.

I am just saying my own, I don't care which tribe you are, he is or I am. Comparing FBI to Forbs is just plain wrong.
I am not also saying he cannot defend himself, afterall he can claim ignorance of the allegations. But do not compare forbes and FBI. Forbes dont care how you made your money. It's none of their business. Theirs operandi is "what you are doing with your money and its impact to the society bla bla"
