Hi guys, my HP laptop E1 Vision AMD (that is the name displayed on the right hand side of the laptop just below the touch pad, dont know if that is the model or so)

The laptop is terribly slow. It has 2gb ram, 259gb memory space and 1.45 processor. Only about 20% of the space is used.

I dont know why it is so slow, someone suggested i should increase the ram to 4gb but i have seen many 2gb pcs that download very fast.

Pls what do you suggest i should do to make my laptop perform better.

Please help me. My universal modem (HSDPA 7.2Mbps) isn't working right. Whenever i click connect, it disconnected immediately. But it's working well in other system. I had checked the configuration and it's perfect. Someone suggestf i format my system. Please, i need contributions to this.

Hi.
I'll say since you're still under warranty (1 year), you could take your PC to where you bought for support.

Having said that, this could be an easy fix and you may not bother about the above...but avoid unscrewing the laptop lest you void your warranty.

SOO, let's get to it...shall we?

This happens when drivers fail to correctly access device memory because

1. Drivers or operating systems are outdated : in this case you'll need to update the drivers of your system. hook your system up to the internet and receive the latest updates.

You may also update the drivers of just the Wireless device. To achieve this, go to the device manager then locate network adapters and click the small arrow ">" button next to it to reveal the list of devices. Locate the wireless device then right click and select update driver .

Once done restart your device and connect again.

In the meantime do access the internet via LAN or Android phone using USB tethering.

2. Certain hardware isn't functioning optimally: In this case a network related device (your Wi-Fi adapter).

well, this is highly unlikely seeing that you just purchased a brand new device!...but electronics can be funny any day.

3. System files are corrupt: I don't even want to go too deep on this one... together with the registry, if no back up is available, you will need to re-install windows.

Before considering the fix in 1,2 and 3 above, Try this::

== Disable cache (pronounced "cash" ) memory::
Here, you will need to access the BIOS of the system by pressing F10 Key on start up (just after pressing the power button). In the bios go to advanced options and locate memory cache then disable it.
Save changes and restart.

If the fix described above doesn't solve the problem, then reconsider my opening statement.

I think the issue with the PC is the network driver
I uninstalled the realtek driver and reboot the system and ever since then I have not experience the blue screen error

I put my laptop to sleep around 12am two nights ago, and around 5am, when I turned it on, the laptop (Dell Latitude E6410) came on and didn't show me where to put password.
It was just blank. I tried and tried and nothing happened.

Yesterday evening, when I tried it again, light came only at the power button and after about 7 seconds, it went off.
Nothing displays on the screen and light doesn't turn on anywhere else.

Gurus in the house, what could be the cause?

Please I have two systems and the both has issues now.. Please the first one stopped powering on asking if you press the power button it will come up and trip off without showing anything on the screen. I've checked the and changed the RAM but still the same issue..

I started using the other one(hp) Just this evening I came back from travel and decided to use the laptop to check my mails and other stuff... I press the power button, it was showing light on the Wi-Fi keypad (f12) but it's not coming up... The red light will keep blinking....

Please what could be the problem of the two laptops ... Thanks

So I downloaded speedfan to Monitor the temperature of my Processor and hardisk And I saw The Hardisk was Ok at Abt 38 • Celsius But the Core 0 and Core 1 was 68•C and 70•C
So Since it was a desktop pc I decided to Place the Part of the Hardisk that The Air comes out of (Since the air was cool)
Towards the Heatsink of d Processor to Help in cooling the processors it worked And I was getting temperature if d processor 58•c to 56•c .....
So One day Maybe I didn't Place d Hardisk Properly the way I fix it to cool the processor My leg Hit d Cpu and the hardisk Dropped or Detached and the system Abruptly Switched off...... Everything I try to do to Make it turn on failS And when I Google search it People suggested I should check d back of the Cpu if there Is a Green light at the back of d system maybe psu or so
But I didn't see D light although the Bulbm is there
I wanted to take it to Technicians but am nt at Home right. Now
Pls I really need Help Because dis System must Switch on ooo

2 days ago it was on battery low and went off immediately, quite unusual because this battery have not started behaving like that, it should usually get really low to like 14%, then 11% before going off.

After plugging in a charger it refused to come on, it receives power and all but won't come on, i tried the charger with a different pc and it worked well, i have been soing some research and I believe the Cmos battery is dead because the date and time have been incorrect for quite some time that I don't bother correcting it anymore.

I need advice cos my PC tech guy in Ikeja said it cannot be the CMOS battery, I feel the baba just want to sha chop.

Please help

Hello, remove the laptop battery and press the laptop power button for 30 seconds without plugging charger into the laptop. After that, plugged in only charger (without the insertion of battery) and turn on the laptop.
