generationz:You sure? That rule is a bit confusing. I spell out for numbers less than 10, I use numerals for numbers 10 and above. |
| Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by samsard(m): 11:04pm On Aug 20, 2019 |

Looks like I'll be doing the night watch tonight. Got 3 calls yet to be rated. I don't want to wake up to an expired repeat mail... ![]() |
| Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by generationz(f): 12:03am On Aug 21, 2019 |
odizeey:Yes. But for physical things like humans, rooms , food etc you use numerals. Its in FAQ But if this one has been working for you without being penalized then continue. I can't remember any work I was required to transcribe humans being counted. If I have to I'll follow FAQ |

brijibs:Guy you still dey fear? You be don na I haven't gotten a repeat mail in a long time now. But when I used to get I never bothered to correct it. After one time I corrected an inverted speaker error and still got 1 for another inverted speaker error ![]() The pain of getting another fail is worse than anything in the world And rearranging the work you've done before to submit again..... ![]() |
| Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by Biritiko: 12:31am On Aug 21, 2019 |
generationz:That thing is very annoying. There was a call like that, I was rated 2 for branding, gibberish statement or so. I got a mail and I fixed the errors . Only to be slammed with 1 for inverted speaker ![]() I lost my appetite throughout that day . |

generationz:I got one earlier today for a short call o... !.5mins call. Was given 18mins to submit. The repeat mail afforded me 90mins work on it. Still got a 4 sha. One can never boast of perfection in this line of work, because, every call brings a new challenge. ![]() |
| Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by generationz(f): 12:40am On Aug 21, 2019 |
brijibs:Yes one can't boost of perfection. You like calls with short editing time 5mins with 18mins haba, that's too short na. Before I finish listening time would have elapsed. |

Three works done, but yet still getting a rating of 2. I don taya for transcription. If I timestamp is blank or inaudible, what should I do? I always leave it blank. That should be my problem. |

nwafresh:Up till now,I can't still get verified and I have twitted them on twitter, they are trying to fix the issue. But before then, can I still send my fund to an exchange to get my money or I must verify the bank or card before I can send to another PayPal account? Also, what sthe rate at which PayPal exchange a USD to Naira? Less assume I am withdrawing $200.What rate do they use as their exchange rate, tho I know it fluctuates but you can tell me the current rate or your last used rate. For the africard,I haven't seen the page where the details are and what it costs to get it and how to link it.Inshort, the linking button on my acct is not working for now.The pics below will show you what am passing through at the moment. Both the card linking and the bank linking are both giving me issues. |

INSTANTCASH345:This guy wan cause wahala for us o. Why tweet at them? What do you want to tell them? That you are a nigerian and you want to link your card? The account you are using is it Nigerian? Are nigerians allowed to recieve funds via Paypal? U want make them block the whole thing. Over sabi go kill some of una. Ask whatever question here. Someone will help you. Haba |

INSTANTCASH345:You're facing that tiring issue I faced last week and early this week. Here is the solution, samsard:Register on that platform. Go to add payment method, select PayPal as your payment method. PayPal will automatically ask you to link a card. Link your card and you are good to go. Disclaimer: I'm not in anyway an affiliate of the above website, neither is the individual I quoted. I'm only trying to proffer a solution to the PayPal issue. For the Africard, just pay 2k or 2500 into the account. I will advise you to get your Africard first before linking your card because once you link another card, you will end up having the above issue all over again when it's time to link your Africard. |

Biritiko:Do you use numerals for physical.... Do use word format for non physical... Do use numerals for 10 and above... Please elaborate. |

toluxe0075:Ok thanks bro. Seems the site is an affiliate to PayPal or something but that aside, how much is the exchange rate for PayPal funds? I can see naira2usd rate is a lil above #250 to a dollar. |
| Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by samsard(m): 9:09am On Aug 21, 2019 |
INSTANTCASH345:Better you sell to me or dash me than that N250. I will swear for you. |
| Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by Nobody: 9:23am On Aug 21, 2019 |
psyqs:Sure. My mind didn't event go there at all and they didn't worry.we chatted a lot and they really are Willing to help.I guess they don't even bother about what we are bothering about since the account is not created for fraudulent purpose(s).I even guess they know that I am a Nigerian because they asked what country paypal was that.Their customer support is excellent I must say. By the way, pls, what rate is charged on bank withdrawal? As in the rate of naira to USD? So I can decide whether to be sending to Naira2usd or verify and withdraw to my acct. Imaging Naira2USD exchanges for #250 to a Dollar. That's,let's assume one is selling $100,it will be #25000 he will be receiving to his acct. |
