Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, on Wednesday, paid a visit to national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Igbere TV reports.

Aregbesola, a former governor of Osun State, was among the 43 new Ministers sworn in by President Muhammadu Buhari in the nation's capital, Abuja.

Igbere TV had reported that President Buhari, on Wednesday, finally inaugurated his cabinet, 84 days after taking the oath of office for a second term.

Shortly after he was sworn in, Aregbesola was spotted at the residence of Tinubu, whom he had served as Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, during his time as Lagos State governor.

Earlier, the new minister was at his new office (Ministry of Interior), where he was received by the Permanent Secretary, Barr Georgina Ekeoma Ehuriah.

It is believed that Tinubu lobbied the ‘juicy’ Interior portfolio for Aregbesola, who is often regarded as his ‘boy’ having worked for his emergence as governor of Osun State.

The APC national leader(Tinubu) is said to have presidential ambition ahead 2023, with many of his political sons now positioned in ‘key federal positions.’

It's hard not to respect Tinubu, the man has helped a lot of people up the ladder, I can't see any politician that matches him. We only see Pull Him Down (PHD) syndrome no one wants the other to progress beyond Him. Though he has his own issues like every other politician in Nigeria, but for me he is far better. Invest in people and help them, they might help you in future, even if they don't let posterity be the judge.

I don't know how Tinubu actually does it because he surely gets whatever he needs in Nigerian politics.

I may not be his fan, but I respect his perseverance...

Tinubu ought to be the Career Development Manager in my firm.

Everyone associated with him politically, tend to grow at alarming rate.

Imagine Rauf Aregbesola a "mere commissioner", now Minister of a big portfolio like Interior.

Still doesn't change the fact that he, like every other Politicians in this country, is a big thief.

My only concern is that we have people glorifying him while demonizing others.

He is far better in what sense ? No human being has looted any state treasury like the man yet you say he is far better , far better in what? Looting ?!!!!

At least he has never held any appointment in any of the eastern states or even federal government. He is from the sw and his public service appointments have all been in the sw. But the s/westerners aren't complaining of him, so why are you crying more than the bereaved?

Meanwhile, your people are more comfortable with lagos than any of your 5 eastern states even though your leaders don't don't steal.

They are all thieves irrespective of the party and region they belong to ..imagine somebody cancelled your comment that's to show you the damage tribe, language, religion has done to our minds, blinding the eyes of men not to see the truth even at the point of death. What a shame .

It is just a pity bro, you can already see that he is dragging tribe into the discussion. This man had a whole state in his pocket and is planning of pocketing the entire nation, his greed is second to none.

No society grows with people like him, a country can't move forward with the type of selfish leaders we have in this country.

You based your judgment on rumors and propaganda. Tinubu last held any political appointment since 2007. Tell us who pocketed your state.

Buhari's current ministerial appointments is more of gratification of his political juggernauts than Competence. Just imagine; Apkabio, gbemi saraki, Aregbe and other Idiots.
They should just cum and finish their 4 years, I don't expect any difference from them.
