Very rare. Unless you have a skill that's in-demand or your expertise is unique, it's almost unheard off getting a job outside Canada. Canadian employers must hire citizens and PRs first before looking at foreigners and with the mass influx of immigrants now, how will they look to foreigners? Anyone can try sha but best not to get your hope's too high

Thanks.

Fam what are your thoughts on this person's case ? I haven't seen where someone combined different ECA outcomes from different evaluating bodies cry.
She used ICES for B.sc evaluation, and now wants to use CIPM to claim two or more certificate with WES. Since they (WES) are the only evaluating body that will give her a positive assessment for her CIPM certificate.
With the way it is now, B.sc would be from ICES and CIPM from WES. Can she upload two assessments from different evaluating bodies and now claim two or more certificate?

Hi NOC gurus in the house. Need insight on if the role of Funds transfer officer can pass for NOC 1114. One of the job titles of the NOC has 'foreign interbanking office/interbanking arrangements officer. Job duties are listed below

Process all local and international funds transfer requests

. Authorize and assist in ensuring cash indent (local and foreign currency) and evacuation for subordinates

Thanks in advance for ur inputs. smiley

NOC 1114 should work.

Hi @gretop; you will win this. I'm very sure and my faith is strong.

Do liquidate as you're doing and update them with it in addition to what you've already done with an appeal. God will favour you!

The VO must have fixed his thoughts on US mutual funds when appraising this considering that you're based there.

gretop:
My primary office is: Montreal Immigration while my secondary office is: Centralized Intake Office. The letter was updated on my profile on the website. It wasn’t sent to my mail directly.

In parallel, I have started the liquidation process. Can’t do more than N2.5m online so I have to do it over 3 days. It takes a max of two days for online redemption.

Hello,
Thanks for the information. please can you share the contact details for Compunet, plus are there study/training centers for BCS in Lagos?

Zara01:
Hi guys,

This is for anyone who wants to boost their score by writing the BCS Certification in IT.

I know some people are looking for more information about this but they haven't found any so I've taken it upon myself to post this here.

I spoke with their head of customer service and below is the official message from them:

Thank you for contacting Compunet Limited the approved centre for British Computer Society (BCS) in Nigeria with proven records of outstanding performance from our students.

BCS has three levels:

a. Certificate in IT
b. Diploma in IT
c. Postgraduate Diploma in IT.

Please note that the CIT level is enough to earn you additional 37 points in your CRS for the Canadian immigrants.

The exams are taken every March and September and the pass mark is 40%.
The CIT has three modules/courses which are introductory courses to Computer Science or Information Technology. With or without Computer background with all the necessary support from Compunet Limited you can acing’s the three modules. We have trained secondary schools and they passed.

For Canadian immigrants, is recognized, accepted and evaluated by WES as a One-year certificate program. Hence it can be added to whatever degree you had to claim Two or more certificate with additional 37 points.

The three courses/modules for the CIT level are:
a. Information Systems
b. Software development
c. Computer and Network Technology.

The total cost of training for the three modules/courses is #150,000.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE A VERY ROBUST ONLINE PLATFORM FOR DISTANCE LEARNING STUDENTS.

#50,000 for each of the courses. With this you will get all the recommended textbooks, past questions and answers.
Condensed training materials (video, audio etc.) for all the courses. You will be added to our WhatsApp group for each of the courses where materials are frequently dropped, questions answered and 9 hours weekly classes takes place.

Membership annual fee costs 37 pounds, then each module cost 40 pounds each.
That’s a total of 157 pounds naira equivalent of about 75k depending on the exchange rate at as when you are paying.

This is the best time to register for the training because the next exam is for September

Registration for the exam ends 25th July.
Exam is either 16th - 17th September or 17th - 18th September at British Council in Lagos, Abuja and Kano.

If you're like me with no background in IT, be sure to check their website for past questions to practice with and study hard.

Hope this helps!

Lol. My teacher is no longer in the country, sadly. I hear there are really good teachers at Alliance Francaise and they would know more about the TEF preparation than any random teacher.

Something is definitely wrong. Have you mailed a higher officer? Maybe you can use the internet to search for a top individual in Canada immigration and send a personal message. What could be worse?

I once read a PPR story here, a year plus few months wait, no issue, clean record, did everything, VO was just not ready. I think the VO was Kyiv. Please don't give up. Hold on to the hope. PPR will come and you will testify.
