On the issue of connection:

I had my interview on the 9th of July with the 7am batch. When my name got called along with others at the amphitheater, just two of us were present out of ten at the time, so we got to the interview floor and waited for the interviewers. We waited for about an hour and 20 minutes before they began strolling in.

While myself and the other guy present were waiting, the usher (South Southerner), later joined by two other young wealthy-looking ladies were chatting about different issues.

One of the ladies (South Westerner) who I later understood served at the corporation in 2017/18 and got retained after her service, lamented about how her mother could not secure a job for her younger sister in NCC because of the extremely long legs and huge amount of money needed to get a job there. It was while she was lamenting that one of the young ladies reminded her of how she also got into NNPC, so she should just be grateful.

You may be surprised about how they weren't bothered by the fact that we didn't sit so far away from them and we could hear their conversation, well I was too. As a matter of fact, they told us to pray before the interview and on our way out.

True. The process is quite fair and anyone that’s capable to even alter the result can only do it out of love. As per family way.
For the sake of people relying on fairness to get a shot at this, I pray that should people with long legs come in, which I know they have come in already, may the slot not be shared . Instead, an allowable deviation be made for them separately. In Jesus name. Amen.

Me I was busy taking pictures at the towers o. Gave one candidate like me to do the honours. And i told them. I don't know when next I will enter this building again.
It may seem like I lack faith, but God has been wonderful. I even went for the CBT 30 mins late and also without a pencil.
I borrowed one sha.
I don't know when I will enter the towers again, but God I would love to again. and again and again

The General line of thinking, has always been, rich people don't like money, most esp. small small one's, but then we've forgotten, that, small small money, is how they got rich in the 1st place.

The folk's who share the 200k my wife use to secure her Job are actually Perm. Secs & Directorate cadres. shocked? don't be, at time's, it's a meal ticket everyone must share as an allegiance to involvement, even though, it might be given out or use to buy Fuel.

Those peddling connections can continue, if APL comes out & my name nor dey, na to accept the WILL of GOD, he nor concern me, like i said initially, some of us are OK, we just wanted to be Ok-er.

From a financial perspective, it is. Given that your ROI would progressively be high. However, it is not impossible. You would agree with me that very few persons know how successful candidates were selected after CBT and probably after the interview. Collation are done by human beings albeit staff but you cannot tell at what level. The secretary taking notes, the guys that ushered us into the ampitheatre, i may be wrong but they all look like junior staff. Someone may be looking to make fast cash. In this kind of organisations, APLs are not entirely dependent on just your performance; grace, luck and connections are involved. Privileged staff at any stage of the recruitment, if they are involved in the process can swap names due to nepotism, financial gains et al.

Do you think some persons asking for panel information are just asking for the fun of it? In summary, whoever is destined to get the APL will get and that is pretty much it.

This is NNPC for God sakes, anybody who said he paid one million for a slot should be ready for disappointment, YOU MUST WRITE THE CBT & pass UNLESS UR PAPA NA BUHARI, THEN YOU MIGHT SKIP AM & still get the job. Even people with connection wrote the CBT & went for interview.

Please this is not state civil service where you can easily pay Ur way through with peanut, this is where majority of revenue of Nigeria comes from, so even those with connection have to be smart enough to deserve d slot.
