So I requested for a review on the name from SH since, then I listed it on namerific which they rejected, I listed it on brandbucket since 2Aug and it was still showing pending since(you know it takes long for BB to approve names).

So just ysternyt I got a mail that my request hv been approved on SH. They approved the name for $2199 or so. Which with great joy I rushed and approved�. Then just this morning I finally got a mail that the wisedeeds//king have been approved by brandbucket for $2899 or so. Which I also went and accept.�

Am really confused because I don't know if it works that way like listing a name in two different popular marketplaces.

With inbound, you only buy and list the domain at marketplace while you receive offers from interested buyers without reaching out to them.

You want to make money in domaining I guess, don't allow promos make you in registering quantity instead of quality, at the end you are the only one losing. I registered over 150 domains during netsol promo, of which only few can pass the great geo domain test. And many are expiring now. Funny enough 80% of this domains were gotten from expired domains. Aggressive Outbound has been done on their heads.


Secondly I am careful of the kind of registrars I use, let me tell you that most of your buyers in the U.S ist check the Whois of a domain to know the registrar and that's one of the determinant factors they consider before putting their money in line.

Some buyers even prefer to wait for a netsol domain lock to expire before they purchase.
I had a situation of a buyer been angry that I didn't tell her a domain was registered with namesilo, that she doesn't do anything apart from Godaddy.She left the domain at Dan escrow for close to a month. I was trying to sell her the second version of the same domain, and I know what I did before she agreed to buy the second one, at a reduced fee more than 60% reduction. Even till now we still communicate as we became friends after the transaction.

So why we all want to make money, let's put some factors into consideration as if we are equally the end users of such domain name.

How to Check availability of Domain name Using nslookup on your Computer
Open command prompt on your computer - To do this, press and hold the windows button and key 'R' on your computer
In the command prompt, type nslookup - 8.8.8.8 and press Enter. You should get something that looks like this:
You'll be able to type after the greater-than symbol on the last line. If you get something different, make sure you types the code exactly as I wrote it, including the spaces.

Note: This will use Google's DNS servers. I chose Google because their DNS servers are fast and reliable, and I've never had an issue with my tested domain names being coincidentally registered the next day. If you don't trust Google, in place of 8.8.8.8, you can use 4.2.2.1 for Microsoft or 208.67.222.222 for OpenDNS. Request to _______ timed-out: The DNS request failed; check your Internet connection, try again, or try another DNS server
Anything else: The domain is already registered

This will put an end to Godaddy stealing your unregistered domains from you. This info is actually available on namepros but I am saving you the time and stress.

I believe that registering domain name during promo period shouldn't be spontaneous. It should be speculative and highly researched in advance.

Most of the names I registered during Promo periods are name that I have on my wishlist few weeks or month to the promo.

Morover, if I see a new domain name I want to register during the promo period, I will subject it to some level of intense scrutiny using the following tools:

Web.archive.org: to check the history of the website. If it happen that the domain name was previously owned by a business outfit not a domainer, there's a higher chance of selling it.

GoDaddyAppraisalTools: I check GoDaddy appraisal tool to check if similar version of the name has sold. Moreso, I visit the sold domain name if it was bought by a reseller or end users.

Google Map :For Geo+KW, I check use google map to check the number of end users available. This is the search string I use on google for example
"Best Dentists in Luling, Texas :map.google.com"

If the domain name scale through this three stage, I then go ahead to register it

Oga this is mainly for people that have basic knowledge of the computer and how it works. Command prompt and pinging of networks are not 100% reliable if you don't understand the basics of Cisco networking.


I advice newbies to use Whois.com to check availability of a domain name.

Little something i designed to let me select Geo domains.
First column contains 60most populous US cities, second column contains keyword service/products.
The combinations rearrange automatically once i refresh
It might not be something big but it helped me chose the domains below i registered yesternight.
Though some combinations are taken but las las u go find available one

Quality over quantity anytime but for geo domains, I think you won't find quality geo domains that are deleted, it's either they are snapped at GD expired or backordered, so more or less we are left with average scraps which might sell or not. So in this instance quantity is better than quality.
PS: I just sold one of the names I bought from this promo.
