i doubt those views are real. U need to filter some variables if you ve not done that before. I think we ve talked about how to do that sometimes before on this thread.

You are right,but I did not drop domain for appraisal. We were complaining about a service renders by SH,and for the record we didn't register those names, we only suggested them to SH. Also, nobody is an island of knowledge here, we all learn here. And even if at all you want to pass a message,spread it like a Noble man not like a dictator. This is not a family gathering he needs to respect people and their opinions. Not everyone here is boyz,we have some menz here too. I bow out here.

Try to view the analytic on your laptop and check audience overview. You will clearly see where those traffic are coming from. Have you check the keyword of your domain name on Keyword Planner?? The traffic you see may consist of direct or organic ones. Also, if the bounce rate is higher like 98% or 99%, its definately a bot traffic. Those are metrics DAN don't possess.

I believe that registering domain name during promo period shouldn't be spontaneous. It should be speculative and highly researched in advance.

Most of the names I registered during Promo periods are name that I have on my wishlist few weeks or month to the promo.

Morover, if I see a new domain name I want to register during the promo period, I will subject it to some level of intense scrutiny using the following tools:

Web.archive.org: to check the history of the website. If it happen that the domain name was previously owned by a business outfit not a domainer, there's a higher chance of selling it.

GoDaddyAppraisalTools: I check GoDaddy appraisal tool to check if similar version of the name has sold. Moreso, I visit the sold domain name if it was bought by a reseller or end users.

Google Map :For Geo+KW, I check use google map to check the number of end users available. This is the search string I use on google for example
"Best Dentists in Luling, Texas :map.google.com"

If the domain name scale through this three stage, I then go ahead to register it

As a domainer don't be too in a hurry to reg any name that come to mind for the brandables niche write it down, do maximum research, pronounce the names and even ask people to pronounce it to your ear if it sounds nice in listening, know the meaning of name

This can even take you days
Sometimes while brainstorming on the name one small idea will flash in and give the name a new meaning
