No need to get worried. He can inform his university that embassy claimed his name is not on their list so they can resend. Most times the university do send the names however, the embassy usually don’t update their list instantly so they give such to applicants and if the names are received in many cases (73%) they do contact the applicants to resubmit their passports.

Why not consider Russia, There are State scholarship going on in about 6 Universities in Russia before August 20 2019, It is way way cheaper to study in Russia and the universities are renowned and standard( You may even get to travel to the US for an elective course). I don't know why people have really ignored Russia, maybe everyone thinks they are not accepting or easy to apply to their schools, everything has changed now, You can earn as much as $700 monthly working as a student in RUSSIA!

The earliest appointment time we got is Sept 10th and the school resumes 16th, I doubt if the visa can be ready.

You don’t need appointment, just go any working day to MZ VIZE OFFICE for submission.

To update: MZ VIZE now requires appointments for submissions.

For ok-to-board
You will need payment receipt of tuition, acceptance/admission letter and return ticket(Turkish airline). It’s done within 24-72 hrs.

My boy needs to go back to the Philippines for Study, so i bought him a 1 way ticket to Manila pending when i get more money to buy his return. But i called the airline today because of the layover and they told me that they wont let him board unless i buy a return for him.

Please advice me as that is way beyond my budget for now.

Which airline, can this ticket be canceled and get refund instant?
Give me the traveling date, I will ask my office to check airline without return. Or we can do short return more cheaper!

Please, how long does it take for North Cyprus visa to be issued. I applied on the 8th of August for a student visa (through MZ VIZE) and I haven’t got any response from them yet. Hope all is still in order?

Okay Ethiopia airline appears to be the cheaoyes for that day, however, other airline like Etihad, Emirates and Turkish goes but more expensive and they don’t have issues with one way.

Also, since this isn’t his first time, if his residency permit shown to them then I personally don’t see any reason for return. Can you specify to them that he is not first time flyer to this place and will be staying for longer due to his education. Becos some of the airline specify return Ticket mostly for new students/traveler in case of deportation.

The other way round is buy 1 week return if that will be accepted, that’s what I usually do for my student to save cost.

Mr wip, please can you shed more light on accommodation; the Do's and Don'ts. I heard the agent that looks for accomodation for someone, collects a months worth of rent as agency fee.

Yes majority of the agents and even students turned agent do collect agency fee in most cases is equivalent to one month rent. However, this depends on the region, such act is prevalent in Girne and Lefkosia; it’s less common Magusa.

If Students get direct contact with the landlord then this is usually not the case.

The main things to consider in accommodation that new students need to ensure before moving in are :

1. Ensure all electric and water bills are paid by asking for latest payment bills before moving in.

2. Pictures of current state of the apartment interior and major facilities should be taken before moving in as the usual excuse given when students are packing out.

3. Get to know the maximum allowable person that can stay in the apartment/flat.

4. Ensure your flatmate/room mate is not into internet fraud or drug business.

Hello,I applied for Turkish visa on the 5th of August, and they sent me an email to come and pick my passport on the 15th of August. I got my passport and a white paper was included that my application has been transferred to Turkish authority for examination.
