Hello everyone, I wasn't going to comment again till when the APL drops on the 9th but reading the recent attacks on mosgoon made me change my mind.

This thread feeds off too much on negativity. Stating where you've worked, things you've worked on and what you've achieved doesn't automatically relate to arrogance or gloating.

It's so funny how people take an individual's choice of words on faceless forum so personal when you've not gotten to meet the person physically or communicate properly to understand their person and character.

People are always quick to bash someone's opinion or call them out. It's the same reason why so many people are unwilling to reply to emails and network here. This was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to network at a larger level, but constant trolling won't permit that.

No one this thread is a scrub, and the mere fact you all have gotten to this stage explains the brilliance of every single member. Nobody here owes anyone justification for how they speak or how they put their points accross. Nigerians like to believe a bunch of gibberish that being humble takes you very far. I'm sorry but it's not always true. Trump still became president despite he always boasted and gloated about his personal achievements.

We don't know mosgoon on a personal level, so I don't believe we can be a perfect judge of his character just from NL. That's all for now

We need them to make breakthroughs in Medicine, ICT, Economics, Engineering etc. Mosgoon on the other hand is suffering from a common psychological disease called "desperation". I have never said anything about this mosgoon of a guy. So let me just quickly say that I am impressed at the level with which he holds himself back from giving it back to people inspite of all the attacks. That's an indication of a great EQ.

To those attacking him, please calm down. You may think that it wrong of him to be harping his accomplishments. You may think that it is a shortcoming on his part. You also need to realise that you have a shortcoming as well. So learn to accommodate those of others. Even if he has that shortcoming, I still believe Mosgoon is a nice guy. I recall that he offered to accommodate someone in a hotel just before the interview. What about LOMS, which he bought for over over #100,000 or so? He was still willing to share. Well, for you Mosgoon, I know you are a young guy, so you may not have had a lot of experiences in life. My mum always tells me that if you detect that the yam you planted is going to yield bountifully, as would be indicated by the big tearings on the ground, you use sand to cover those tearings. She also told me that most people don't want their neighbour's goat to give birth to more than one kid at a time. I am sure you can deduce what those mean.

I once had this attribute of displaying my knowledge to whoever cares to listen. But this earned me a lot of enemies. In fact, on two occasions, if not for the fact that I averted the situation, I would have engaged in serious fights. So I have learnt to speak only when it's necessary and to the right audience.

My point is, humans are wicked. Learn to speak only when it's necessary and use wisdom. For example, instead of saying "when I was at Mck, we used to feed on estimation......", you could say "some organisations like Mck feeds on estimation....". Guy be wise. Humans are wicked.
