Good Morning All, Just received an email concerning a visitors visa for my mother in law with the statement“Your visitors visa application has been concluded" I have read online that concluded mean denial and "issued" means approved. Has anyone received similar email wording like "concluded and received the visa? Urgent guys... Many thanks

Only the ECO can determine that. If you’re refused certainly it will not be based on your US refusal as you have disclosed it in your cover letter.

The TLS center just send me a mail now that my passport is ready for collection.
I will update the house tomorrow.
Still very scared.........

Hello Gurus thank you for your continuous response to all my questions please i would like to know if its necessary to submit a letter of character reference from either clergy, family or friends. my solicitor added it among the requirements but i cant seem to find this in the checklist from the application.

Yes take your passport to the VAC with the email. They will collect it and send it to UKVI for the visa stamp, if that email is real and genuine. Congratulations!!

Thank you so much for your directions... Just left the VAC now... Passport submitted.

Kind regards

If you don’t want to pay for premium lounge then keep refreshing or try later when time slots will free up. Premium lounge is not compulsory except you want that service...

nooot necessary, HOWEVER if you feel your application’s authenticity could be strengthened by this document, then there’s no harm

6 is preferable. However, with 3 months, you can still get visa.

People use 3 to 4 months to get visa. A nairalander in this thread used 3 months bank statement and got visa.

I personally know someone who used 4 months visa.

It is case by case basis as the applicants history and many other factors are considered.

The officer in charge mindset is also a factor.

It also depends on the type of visa and duration of stay.

It is better to use 3 months bank statement that shows proof of monthly income and expenditure than 6 months with discrepancies.

The bigger the months the better. 3 months is the minimum while 6 months bank statement is the best.

Good luck.

It depends on your circumstance and type of visa.

If it is a dependant and spouse visa you are applying for, letter from your sister or brother stating that you are married in their company letterhead will carry weight.

If it is visitor visa you are applying for and you are married, letter from husband stating that he gave you consent to travel and that you will return back to Nigeria on .......... will carry weight too.
