You can't compare the two.
Makinde came into governance to deliver dividends of democracy to his people. He knows if he didn't perform well. Yoruba people will vote him out come next election. I trust them. Ask Ambode if I'm lying.

But our own Ihedioha only came to power for one mission. Vengeance..
He will be there running after Okorocha for good 4 years and we will all applaud him.
Only in Igbo land that we wash our dirty linens outside while the so called elders fold their hands.
May God help us.
Funny enough Ihedioha has some diehard fans here on Nairaland.

Damn! Makinde is a genius!

Education and exposure plays a vital role in life. It furnishes your approach, reasoning, solutions and recommendations.

Imo people be presently looking at Ihedioha and asking God why they were cursed with a destroyer.

Very correct. But subjecting one to education and ready to remain educated, act educated and believing that you actually had a quality one supercede having the education, in a prestigious university abroad without proper usage of it.

Mindset and contentment play major roles in humans' lives.

Fayemi had education in a special course abroad to PHD, Akeredolu had till MLLB, meanwhile Rauf Aregbesola had just HND.

With all the road maps and A1 policies of Makinde, so far, he has superceded them all, except Rauf just yet.

If Makinde is able to implement all these rightly, no doubt hes a candidate for the presidency.

Core values and inner values for good leadership are all most of our politicians lack.

Makinde seem has it, but end justifies the means

I was never a supporter of a Yoruba man ruling this country again and not even Tinubu after OBJ did his 8yrs, but tribe aside the way Makinde is going if he continues with his outstanding performance in governance I personally will campaign for him if he decides to run for presidency something I have never done before.

You bear Adaowerri, presumably a sister to me. How you hate a man and join him with his clan as onye mbaise is stereotactically bad.

Rochas Okorocha did all his looting and you never involved ideato people alongside his name.

Is it nothing to you, that at such an age, been still bear the frontiers of stereotypes

You misunderstood me then, calling one mbaise man "foolish" doesn't mean all mbaise people are fools.

By the time this guy is through with Oyo if he continues with this momentum, Nigerians in South Africa will be migrating from there to Oyo State.
This guy will win South East votes if he contests for president

I knew this guy as a major player in the oil and gas, he owns an oil servicing firm.
So I didn't think he'll be fit to dabble in ruins of Nigerias political atmosphere.
So far he's proved us wrong. Worst of all he has only one head!!!
He's proof that there can be good ppl in politics, in as much as it took a lot of money to woo the ppl, I hope gradually Nigerians across the whole country will begin to look for such traits in aspirants

He is already made and fully formed. The system corrupts only those who have always been unconsciously romancing corruption but had no platform to fully develop and exhibit their corrupt tendencies. If it's already in him, corruption will surely consume eventually.

I'm afraid all this may b shortlived? Why do I say this? Ther seem to b a convenant among conventional politicians not do the right thing, afterall governance isn't rocket science as this man is proving. They'll likely call this man to order. Nigerian politicians are evil...

Very important. Every dime must be recovered from your greedy animal of a boyfriend, Roaches Okorocha.
This is a task that must be done. I don't think any state got messed up like Imo state, Ihedioha's task is greater than any other governor. Don't envy him at all.

It really doesn't take much for some to praise and celebrate a governor in Nigeria, they celebrated and praised the man for slashing the state's budget as if budgets are set in stone, they are projections and intents, nothing more.

Realistic or not, it makes no difference, even after slashing the budget to his desired figures, it still doesn't reflect anything real or realities because just like what he slashed, it's still based on unrealistic expectations.

We listen to the same laundry list of I will, I intend to or shall by Politicians all over the country without any credible follow-up or actions taken till their last days in office.

Let your actions and results speak for you, allow the people to commend you based on the positive effects of your work on their existence and daily realities.

As a society, we hail and praise meaningless platitudes instead of real achievements in brick and mortar, in real life life-changing programs and policies.

We've been so bastardized with poor and horrible leadership and representation that we celebrate anything, even ordinary speech and meaningless platitude.

Just sad.

Most of what Makinde wrote on twitter sound good on paper (more of wishful thinking). Implementation is key. I hope they are not abandoned during execution cos everything is premised on bigger IGR. So, this 100- day is more promisory than executional.

This is how a government should be run. Progress for the sake of progress and not embezzlement, then lie to us all. More grease to the elbows of Seyi Makinde and his cabinet. I hope this continues and that corruption evades you because it's never far away in Nigeria.
Naija politicians won't want progress so he should show actions as well as be ready to fight for a continual system that would live on after he's gone.
