I think transcription should be verbatim except when there is grammatical error then you can paraphrase.
Transcribe as you heard her.

Bad day with qa over here. Picked my sweetest call today. On the 48th statement( which was two away from the last), MTN decided to mess it up. Connection was lost. Tried refreshing the page and it started all over( still confused because I saved it). I immediately switched to 9mobile to avoid further disappointments since I had about 15mins left and already knew what to transcribe.

6mins to the end, phone went off!!!( forgotten I had set it on auto off by that time)

We march on embarassed
why I don't use phone. There was a day I was working and I switched tab only to come back for it to reload and Everything gone.

Did the withdrawal go through?

If yes, then don't expect alert, the money is already in ur africard.

If no, then wot message did u get?
Is the withdrawal under review?

thanks so much brother.
I just confirmed from the web portal.
The money dropped under 24hrs but since it's my first time I was hoping to get a credit alert SMS.

Is the withdrawal pending or has the funds left your PP. You may want to check your card for the funds as you may not get alert when the money hits you

Thanks so much brother.

You'll hit it. To hit 100mins is like a hurdle for me here.

The thing is, the more you work, the more faster you becomes.

I remembered when I started newly, I lost so many calls just because I couldn't finish within the allocated time. Sometimes when I'm having 2mins left and I'm still editing, I will just intentionally submit it like that and then wait for a redo.

But these days, I usually have about 1 hr, 30 minutes or more whenever I'm submitting a call. That way, I have been able to work on more calls without spending all my day at QA.

Thanks to all my Bosses here. All your various posts are seriously appreciated.

Slack is the work place community where you can get to connect with other transcribers and moderators who can help you resolve any issues or questions. Just sign-up and the bot will put you through.

For the PayPal, you can follow this link to learn how to do that https://drive.google.com/file/d/1L1TiijdFxxx81cj8a1q5rXZAjeidcQyC/view?usp=drivesdk after opening the PayPal account, go to your nearest UBA branch and tell them you want the international Africard. That's the card you'll use to get your funds directly from PayPal. Please note that you must always log into the Lesotho PayPal using the link provided in the document.

Take some time to read the FAQ and help before you start your first job. It is extremely important.
pls I created a paypal account with this guide, but what I see in the drop down menu is 'saudi arabia'' anybody with same experience.

Bro..It's better you take time and read the FAQ. That's your only bet. If you jump that hurdle, you'll just get frustrated in the end. Most champs here read it frequently just to make the rules a second nature. Peace my man
