Has anyone here used UK visa to obtain e-visa for Turkey and/or Qatar before?

How convenient was it?

considering using my 2 year UK visa to holiday in those 2 countries next year by God's grace.

I have seen a couple of people who were refused and one thing runs through the reason. That they do not have strong ties in their home country to make them return if they are not selected during the army training.
Looking at your profile, no work or school, you need a miracle for the visa to be granted because you have close to zero ties to compel you to come back.

For Uk army assessment, already you have declared your intention of working in the UK and ECOs are aware that it is not an automatic selection during the assessment so they pay attention to you ties in your home country.

The advise I sometimes give people who want to join UK Army is to apply for a normal visitor and when you arrive you attend the two days assessment.

I intend applying for a 6month visitor's visa

Should I tell the ECO that I'll be back after the assessment even if I pass, and then go back when I'm called for training

Do you think that'll work?

The cover letter I drafted is about 3pages. This is required to explain some incentives and Bonuses paid by my employer at some certain time.

My question is, is 3pages too much as a cover letter?

Thanks

That it is too much bro.
A good cover letter should be one page, straight to the point. That's global standard.

Having big money lodgements is a big issue. Hope you have proof of where these monies are coming from and why with accompanying documentation

Please it is not much. As long as you can explain your issues categorically. I have seen a 4 page cover letter....

Create a table, transaction date credit side with purpose in front, debit side with purpose in front.

All transactions from 50k up must appear on that table.

Use a table to explain all your financial transactions, it's shows accuracy. Then your CL. can be reduced to two pages. I submitted two pages...

U can use hotel reservation from booking dot com
Look for a hotel or hostel with free cancellation since you are not sure of your visa decision.

.... however pls make sure your reservation is valid for the period of your whole visa process...
noted thanks bro, God bless you

I gave them the exact reason in the refusal letter. I also attached the refusal letter to my applications.though I declared two previous UK refusals in my online applications as well.
Just tell them every truth about your applications.
It will not affect your applications.

Experience from someone that pass the British Army assessment in the UK, was that he was told not to return back to Nigeria. So that plead willl not work. You can get the visa. Just package your application properly and hope for the best.

Disposable income is what am asking, but from your last post, u ve made it clear that you are self employed.

Since you are self employed, the question now is do u have a fix salary for yourself which is reflecting on your statement of account?

That is too much, the ECO don't have all the time in the world to read pages of cover letter, reduced that to a page

There is no limit to the pages of cover letter. It is the duty of the ECO to read it all. When I applied in June, my cover letter was 9 pages and i got the visa after 14 working days. Individual cases differ.
