ornicus: Raising children now is a big challenge. Providing separate viewing centre for kids at times leads to isolation. One needs to maintain a balance |

mysteryman2014:It does not lead to isolation. Kiddies programmes keep them busy cos they practice what they watch on the go. It depends on where one live but here, these programmes have books written about them. When u buy those books, it's like reading and learning. Also, schools incorporate them when teaching. They watch them at schools too. Download their apps and what have u. No dull moment at all. Parents should have separate tv in their bedroom. It's a must and allow children to be children pls |

mysteryman2014: that is very very correct. in fact it happens a lot in american homes with multiple tvs. everyone just goes to their own side of the house to watch their preferred program |

I remember my neighbours daughter died same way. It was not tv. Rather the daughter copied her mum. Every 2 or 3 days, she burns waste with petrol. Everybody was warning to stop using petrol in burning waste but she answers with i am always careful. She does it almost in front of her daughter. One day in the evening after her usual burning, it was raining and she went inside, after the rain the daughter came out and saw the fire no longer burning, so she poured fuel into a small basin as she use to see her mum do and she went close to the burning waste to ignite the fire, unfortunately the fire ignited her and she burnt to death. |

totally agree with you. The best action is to ignore such morons with foolish comment which clearly describes their personality. Just imagine what an adult sat down and placed as a comment. People should totally ignore such morons. When they see no one is quoting them they would crawl back to the pit they came from. wwwwwwwwww: |

sassysure: He means families can easily grow apart. Being family means you sometimes have to sacrifice for others. Picture dad wants to watch football, mum zworld, baby ceebeebies, son cartoon network, daughter Disney junior. So let's say you do get 5 tvs. The whole family is in one house in their free time and there is no bonding. That's why some advocate for only one TV. Otherwise some family members can disappear and only reappear for meals. 1 Like |

banji1: I guess the whole issue of bringing it online is for people to learn from his experience and also for ladies to consider the advice of their hubbies and take to heart the side effect of the programs the watch on their kids. This way they will be more selective. |
