KPOM! I watch Brazil in Copa America and there's nothing special about them, to be quite honest with you.

I am almost 100% sure that our boys can match up with them but I don't trust our coach. He'd go out there trying to play defensive and that would give the Brazillians the time and space to unleash on us shocked

O pari

In this game we have the tools but the coach is a suspect.

Born in Munich, raised in the Netherlands and a family with Nigerian roots. You feel ... I think as a Dutchman. There I felt like I spent my whole life. It's not like I do not feel at home in Germany, but because I do not speak fluent German, that's different. Who are you cheering for at the World Cup? Part of my family lives in Nigeria. That's why I have the same connection to the country as to the Netherlands and Germany. If Nigeria plays at the World Cup, I fever with them, but also for Oranje. And yes, my mother is also keeping her fingers crossed for Germany. So we are together for three teams (laugh)

This is rubbish. Show where anyone abused Aribo and labelled him as one that will bring nothing to the team.

You cannot help but keep lying because your whole talking is built on the layers of lies.... how do you even live with yourself? Lying must be so ingrained into your DNA no thanks to the job you do. Biko when did we make u-turns? Show us as well... I recall some of us here even saw Aribo as one who could bring something different to the Super Eagles when Charlesemeka85 kept talking about it... some of us watched him and cited his left-footedness as one that could be of fine advantage and give our midfield a new way of transiting plays.

@final bolded.... man you are so bloody funny. So until he is tested we cannot see his quality abi. Wasn't Aribo already showing his quality for Rangers in UEL football and bossing the SPL before we called him up? We saw that this lad could indeed bring something and it would only be a matter of time before he is called up and gbam!!! Rohr shocked everyone by calling him up for the last international break.
So tell me what Ojo has shown to warrant a call-up ahead of any other wingers we have got? Even Bonaventure that got called up from Belgium has been better than Ojo this season so far.

The national team is not a testing ground for talents.... you must prove yourself before you get there. Is it not what you always say when you kept flogging the likes of K.Nwakali and Osimhen wondering what they did before they got called up? But now you can see K.Nwakali is integral to the U-23 team and Osimhen is now out top striker and deservedly so.

So you want to tell me after watching Ojo, Kalu, Musa, Lookman (a prospect), Chukwueze, Onyekuru and Simon... it is hard for you to say if Ojo is better or below any of these guys??

So it is until he is seen in the GWG that we can tell if he on a level higher than Chuks? Or higher than Kalu? Or even Musa?? Hahahahahahahaha... your clownishness is unending indeed...

Look man.. a real bonafide clown will be launched in cinemas on October 4 okay... so don't think you can compete with that. You really try so hard to be a clown.... lol

Aribo is not and was never in same scenario as Ojo. Aribo showed something beautiful that got Rohr’s attention... just like Peter Olayinka showed against Inter milan. Aribo came into a position that needed personnel and now he will make it his own.... but Ojo will be up against some of the best young wingers in Europe right now in Chukwueze (rated among La liga's finest youngsters) and Kalu (rated the best dribbler in Europe top five leagues now) and he hasn't shown anything that suggests so far that he can displace any of them.

So Komekn stop your disgusting evasive plays with truth... you have also shown nothing to suggest that you can compete with the Joker... even though you try so hard.. hahahahahahaha

Ojo right now got nothing on our wingers... and this guy below is leagues above Ojo abeg...

Really? shocked

They need to stop wasting time with Tammy. Dude has his heart set with England. Tomori, Eze and Lookman are the 3 English born players I'm interested in at the moment.
WE get those 3 and we'll have quite the squad with massive massive upside

As per career record, Musa and Onyekuru have better end products than him..maybe because they occasionally play as strikers.. Simon Moses also has better career stats than him..
Kalu is a decent player no doubt but sometimes he dribbles unnecessary too much.. These days, inverted wingers are taking over the game..
has had ... in gwg

Maybe only Musa

Yes... really. Maybe I wasn't specific but I had the league season in mind alone. There is no way a winger balling hard and bossing it for his club in Uefa No.8 rated Belgian league will get overlooked over a winger who hasn't exactly stamped his authority in Uefa No.19 rated Scottish league so far. Remember Aribo has already stamped his authority superbly in Scotland and in the UEL.

Also looking beyond the stats... Bonaventure has been the more enterprising footballer of the two so far this season having watched both play in their league games.

Ojo is ours and his chance will come but he is not better than the first choice and second choice wingers we have got right now. It doesn't stop his eventual invite in future though as we have only one left footed winger in Chuks... Ojo and even Adekanye can come expand that dynamism as left footed options with time. But only with time. He should build on his recent positive showings so far and take his performances to a newer level in the SPL if he must get noticed instantly. If not... he will have to wait a bit longer.

Rohr speaks ahead of the Brazil friendly...

Gernot Rohr:

''Most of the players who played against Ukraine: Ekong, Semi, Aina, Jamilu, Uzoho & the other two GKs will be recalled to battle against Brazil.

''Some of these players will be invited again now to play against Brazil because they did so well against Ukraine.

“I hope we can have more than two (2) days of good preparations for this Brazil friendly. We had only two days of preparations in Dnipro when we (Eagles) played against the national football team of Ukraine so that we can repeat this good performance against highly-rated Brazil as we had against Ukraine,

“I am very happy about this Super Eagles friendly match against Brazil. I think this should be the only friendly game for us in this October FIFA window.

“Although the friendly is not against an African team since we are playing against African teams in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers here in Nigeria against the Benin Republic and away to Lesotho. But yes it is fantastic to play against one of the biggest teams in the world.

“The players will have to travel far to the venue of the match which is Singapore, they won’t be required to come down to Nigeria first. Notwithstanding the joy of playing against Brazil supersedes the stress of long-distance traveling”

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe only has positive words regarding youngster Nnamdi Ofoborh.

The youngster has gone out on loan to Wycombe Wanderers in the Football League.

He made his League One debut as a substitute against Lincoln City, and then got a start against Gillingham.

Speaking about those games and Ofoborh, Howe told the Daily Echo: "I'm delighted for Nnamdi because he came on in the game when the result was in the balance and saw his team home, so that was great to see.

"He's an incredible lad. I've got so much time for Nnamdi and I really, really hope he does well in his loan period.

"He's got a great way about him. He's a happy lad and he's very popular in the dressing room with us already.

"I think experienced pros want him to do well just because of his nature and his character, which is really nice to see.

"He's also a winner and I think the beauty of Nnamdi is he's probably, when he's here, the player that stays out the longest. He's the last off the training pitch pretty much every day and that's great credit to him.

"I think with that mindset he can go a long way

I just came across this on Wikipedia on CAF 2022 world cup qualification structure, the final qualification will be best 10 to meet on home and away basis for best 5 to emergy :

'The previous proposal to merge the qualification rounds for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations with those for the World Cup was turned down after a CAF meeting on 11 June 2018.[2]

CAF reverted to the format used for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification competition.

First round: 28 teams (ranked 27–54) played home-and-away over two legs. The 14 winners advanced to the second round.

Second round: 40 teams (ranked 1–26 and 14 first-round winners) will be divided into ten groups of four teams to play home-and-away round-robin matches. The ten group winners advance to the third round.

Third round: The ten second round group winners play home-and-away over two legs. The five winners qualify for the World Cup'

How can you have only league season in mind?

Is the Belgium league the only tournament in Europe?

Europa League is more competitive than the Belgium league and Ojo is balling hard and bossing it for his club in a more reputable competition than the Belgium Pro League. That's the undiluted fact.

Therefore, Ojo is doing better than Bonaventure this season. Oooooha.

Ojo has even done better than Aribo in both the Scottish league and the Europa League. You can never deny this fact. EOD
