To show you how extra careful I was, at first I even thought logobenz was part of the scam had it been he changed his tune and say it is not a scam then I would have more reason to believe he was part of it.

But he proved his way out.

when i saw that guy's post on the Chelsea thread, the precognitive faculty in me, told me that's a badly orchestrated scam, but i was reticent in voicing my misgivings, cos i know how theatrically emotional Nigerians can be, and how easily I would be branded crass and a wicked soul.

First off: why would the guy choose that Chelsea thread that he knows got very high traffic, to yelp about suicide?
Secondly: why will a person who is made up in committing suicide, bring it to public notice the way he did. that is reverse psychology of emotional blackmail on people conscience.

Thirdly; why use suicide as leverage for financial solicitation, because that's exactly what he has done.

My take on this before we all get distracted:

(1) Albinoflash has his Nairaland account registered since May 2018.

(2) As at Sept. 2018 he posted that he has been battling depression for over 10 years.

(3) In that same post of Sept. 2018, he noted that he was only buying some little more time and putting off the evil day.

(4) In light of the foregoing, it is not out of place to see that he really posted and meant what he posted today (at least when he posted it) --- God forbid that he eventually did it.

(5) As regards scam or no scam, it is very possible that some dubious element see an "opportunity" in Albinoflash 's misfortune and want to defraud unsuspecting people here.

(6) But regardless of what it is, we should know that there are three categories of people here now:

(a) Those who do not care whether or not Albinoflash commits suicide. These are the holier than thou folks who mock people with suicidal thoughts. Logobenz belongs here and he made it quite clear that he doesn't care.

We all don't have to fight him because he chose not to care (fighting him would be to distract ourselves from the real deal).

(b) Those who want to hijack Albinofkash 's misfortune to defraud others. God knows those who belong here.

PS: The fact that someone is trying to defraud others has nothing to do with whether or not Albinoflash is truly suicidal.

Albinoflash 's Nairaland history makes his case of suicide quite compelling.

And we don't have to fight potential fraudsters. Fighting them would be to distract ourselves from the real deal. However, we dont have to send anyone any dime.

Albinoflash hardly needs our money.


(c) Those who genuinely want to see Albinoflash live normally again.

And to these third category of people, I'd say you don't even need to send a dime.

Really depressed people like Albinoflash (not those "celebrity depression" oo) hardly need our money.

From what I read somewhere, he's actually even more financially buoyant than many people here. His issue is deeper (if you know you know).

Even if money is his problem (which is obviously not), all he need do to slide back into this present state is to finish spending whatever you all send him. And then he will be back to square one.

The issue is certainly not money. For now, we simply need to ensure that he doesn't do it (and I hope he didn't and won't) by sending him kind words while mentioning him so he can receive notification.

And once we can be sure that he didnt, we can then advice that he seek the proper care that he needs by seeing a psychiatrist, therapist, psychologist, et al.

But Albinoflash wants 2 commit suicide, he is free. This days, I don’t care if someone threatens to commit suicide.

Do you know what we pass through on a daily and we’ve not thought about suicide, then person wey never see anything go dey threaten suicide.
