Graiccy: You evaluate your highest degree which in this case is your master's degree. Your masters can be evaluated by either of these bodies ICES, WES, IQAS and CES. People have been using CES lately because of its faster time-line and WAEC isn't needed. Employment letter only shows proof of work, your reference letter shows proof of work, nature of work, duties, hours of work and the likes. Read more on what a reference letter contains. To the best of my knowledge, I don't think discharge letter can serve as a reference letter. |

This notification is from August 2018 when they introduced the WAEC/NECO requirement (I guess you quoted it in error and not to make everyone celebrate prematurely). Although I just checked and the WAEC/NECO requirement is no longer on the required documents list for NIGERIA (which may as well be a computer glitch, as it was there on Wednesday), I am yet to find any recent notification of the change in required documents. Hopefully, WES will announce shortly. 2 Likes |

I created a profile with WES July 19 but made my applications Sept 13 and paid. while my hubby's profile was created Sept 6 and completed it Sept 9. Don't we fall in the category please, cos i am just trying to send someone to WAEC office on Monday Austinbani: |

Hello e-fam, before you guys lambast me, I know this may not be the right platform to ask for this but it is very much related. My spouse applied for Canada tourist visa which was work related- the region of his organisation located in Canada wanted him and a few others to come over for a programme they held earlier this month. Earlier when he applied, he and and the others from the organisation were denied based on insufficient funds and they were told they could reapply which they did and the organisation provided the resources and reapplied. Yesterday, he got another denial letter with the VO stating that: 1. he is not satisfied that he(my spouse) will leave Canada at the end of his stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in ........ based on the purpose of visit. 2. he is not satisfied that he will leave Canada at the end of his stay as a temporary resident as stipulated in para...... based on his family ties in Canada and in his country of residence. 3. He is not satisfied that he will leave Canada at the end of his stay as a temporary resident as stipulated in para..... based on his travel history Here are my concerns, will the denial affect our EE application based on those reasons and will I be able to use him as a source of POF. Moreover, he has travel history and has never outstayed his time. Need I say, his VO was Kenya. Please help deliberate. Thanks. 1 Like |

Thanks for your responses so far.. Please can i get the CES link/site where i can start with the evaluation?? His visa denials is not a problem for you guys EE app. Also you can use him as a source of fund. If you meet the minimum requirements of POF, there would be no problem. TRV applications are quite different from EE. Do all that is needed in EE and you get your visa but it’s not the same with TRV (talking from my experience with TRV). Carry on with your application and I wish you all the best. Rence22: 4 Likes |

Rence22: No it won't. Express Entry application is different from tourist visa application. You just have to inform them on your application that his tourist visa application was rejected twice. 4 Likes |
