I've been trying to solve these questions on Quantitative Reasoning since yesterday but I'm always stuck especially in the second example. I can't seem to figure it out. please help.

Have you tried 10 + 5=15 +20=35
4+3=7 +20=27

The constant factor is 20.

Anything that looks like the first example. You subtract the numbers then subtract 20
Anything that looks like the second example. You add the numbers then add 20
For the first example 35 - 10 = 25. Then subtract (20). 25 - 20 ans = 5
For second example 3 + 4 = 7. Then add (20). 7 + 20 ans= 27

Repeat the process for those exercises
