Well for me I used hellofax only for WES to come back weeks later that the document received is not clear and should be sent directly from the university.....I had to pay my institution extra to send the certificates....something I’d have done when they were sending the transcript

Good morning all. I still await anyone’s contributions to this.

I don’t know of fast but SINP recently expanded the nocs required for their provinces. If your NOC is not in their excluded list, you can apply for their PNP, although it’s very competitive, there are lots of 68-70’s plus even though 60 is the cut off. Ontario also releases eligible NOCs from time to time for NOI submission. Read more on their websites.

If you’re targeting PNP, it’s a good idea to select all provinces so you can be nominated by any.

DOMHG:
Greetings All,
Quick question please. On the EE profile, the section where you have to choose province of interest.
Is it okay to select more than one province? Does it have any implication?

Yes. Withdraw the application or revoke the GC key. Then create a new one.

2-3 weeks/Within a month at most. It’s unusual for it to take more than a month except there’s some miscommunication with VFS or some life changing updates from your end. You will get an email from VFS that passport is ready for pickup

junewandra:
Pls seniors, what is the average processing time from PPR to COPR and how will I know COPR is ready for pick up?

[b]Its PPR

To all those at different stages of this process, the truth is it’s not easy but please don’t lose sight of the end goal. I read every page in part 5, 6 and 7. By part 8 I couldn’t keep up any longer as I had already submitted. I learnt all I know about this process from this thread by reading the famous page one and asking questions when I needed clarification. I met a lot of helpful people here and I can remember how motivated I felt reading PPR gist. I told myself that I would also give back to this thread when I got mine. Sorry it’s coming a bit late but I just couldn’t type anything till it came. Thank you all and I pray you all get it.

PPR announcement. Silent reader here.

I learnt a lot from this forum and it's only fair to give back in the way I can.
PPR: 23 Sept 2019

I wish everyone still in the process good luck and encourage those with a lengthy application like mine to remain patient; as long as your eligibility is passed, PPR will surely come.

You are right. It’s continuous experience for at least a year in one NOC not in one company

Influential101:
You could be right.. just may be..CIC stated one full year of continuous experience but didn't state it must be in one Company.. 'Me thinks' it will fly if there's no gap in the year and especially as it's in same NOC..

My opinion, I could be wrong..

As long as you were working full time while doing your masters as an FSW O applicant , you have no issues. Go ahead.

You’re not the first to use NYSC experiences, others have used only it and gotten PPR. Search the thread for their stories. Use your deployment letter and passing out certificate to prove the one year experience, in addition to the PPA letter. CIC knows actual work at the PPA is 10-11 months but activities continue with NYSC until the expiration of one year. This is why your deployment letter and passing out cert is important.

Canada2021:
January to December is 12 months, January to January is 13 months.
So it is imperative to say that August to July is 12 months.

Yes employment is correct

Hephzibah2018:

Actually, I'm trying to input my directorship into Personal history under organization for activity type and it keeps saying this "Any period of time you indicate as being a member of an organization will not count as part of the 10-year personal/address history you are required to provide". So I change the activity type to Employment instead of organization or leave it as is?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by ladymarshall: 10:33am On Sep 28, 2019
Try to use only the allowee bank statement for NYSC, let your reference letter state the allowee amount. If the PPA paid you separately, no need to include it so you don’t confuse the VO. There was once a rejection by the VO because the applicant claimed Nysc yet failed to include allowee bank statements by the government. If you want to include both bank statements (Allowee and PPA), add an LOE. Search the thread and see how past PPR recipients who used NYSC as primary noc did it.

Canada2021:
Good Afternoon,
I intend to use my NYSC experience as part of my work experience to start my Express Entry process.

The Reference Letter i collected from my ppa States as follow:
Start Date: August 28th 2018
End Date: July 23rd 2019.

I resumed in camp on the 28th of August 2018 and i passed out in July 23rd

Please will it suffice to one year work experience.

Thanks and God bless

Hello fam, to cut long story short, I wrote my IELTS in 2017 without really thinking about relocating because my family was in the US at that time. Fast forward to 2018 my family returned and Nigeria didn't make sense anymore so I had to dust my IELTS and wifey started the whole work of filling forms and telling me how much we need to pay for WES evaluation, medicals etc. November 2018 we entered the express entry pool and with CRS of 456.

Within a week we got out ITA, made all our payments and submitted all the documents requested plus the NOC I picked was 1221 which falls with my over 10 year experience as a government employee where I got my reference letter.

Everything was good up until May 2019 when I received a heart breaking mail of refusal because my VO stated he is not satisfied that I have enough experience in the NOC 1221 I selected. I have a B.Sc and Masters both in Public Administration.

I felt my whole world crumbled because I had put in everything into the application. I immediately wrote a letter of appeal for reconsideration stating that I have over 10 years of experience and linking the main duties with the reference letter my employer gave to me.

After waiting for months without reply I had to request for my GCMS notes and in it I saw my VO stated that no new document was presented and my case remains closed. Prior to receiving the notes I had written a follow up letter to Ghana VO copied Ottawa office informing them I am yet to get a respond. We are still waiting.

The IELTS result I used in entering the pool expired after I submitted my ITA and so I retook the IELTS again twice and also submitted an Expression of interest to Saskatchewan express entry and was lucky enough to get an invitation to apply but the help I presently need is for someone to help me by going through my reference letter and telling me what the problem was or is with it my reference letter because I have to submit another one with my new invitation.

Lest I forget, I am yet to be refunded by IRCC and according to my GCMS notes refund has been made. I contemplated getting advice from a lawyer but for 30 minutes consultation I have to pay a minimum of $250 depending on the quality of the firm at the same time I have to pay $350 Canadian to Saskatchewan as I apply into their express entry.

If inception is less than 10years ago, you should declare
Omoolope2023:

Still on the misrepresentation issue!

Will I have to declare my involvement in the company I was a board member at the inception but my name has been expunged from the company list of directors after I voluntarily withdraw?

Note: the changes have been effected at CAC

A day before AOR, if it’s gift deed. You must explain the source of your funds

Hello please from what point in time to what point in time does the proof of fund have to be in the account

Either. She can use the kiddies account and explain the source of the funds as her savings over time. The fact that she’s the sole signatory shows she has full access.

Or she can transfer the funds back to her account but explain that the source is from the kiddies account which was accrued from her savings over time.

otunoba1:
Good day Elders,

Please a quick one on POF.

Can the funds be in the PA’s kids account with a reference letter from the Bank stating that the PA (mum) is the sole signatory to the account or one should just move the funds from the kiddies account to the PA’s account at once?

The kiddies account is where she has been saving money over time.

Please assist.

Thank you

Don’t waste your money. This thread, CIC website and Canada visa forum is everything you need. It’s a DIY process. Just research and read voraciously. White men can be scammers too.

In addition to what others will suggest.
The reference letter lacks some information like your working hours per week and your salary.also, I think you should have a 'unitary' job responsibilities while your new position can just be mentioned without breaking down the job duties that comes with it
