People like you are the problem in this country. You keep justifying wickedness in the name of motivation. Funniest thing is that your mind will only change when you have the opportunity to travel and get some exposure.

Opportunity to travel?

Guy, I have been to over 35 countries and counting.

UK, USA, Canada, South Africa, Norway, far flung nations like Faroe Islands , Mauritania etc.

The problem with your likes stems from a primordial mindset.

Bigotry, envy, religious intolerance, lack of self-analysis, rumour peddling, avarice, obstinacy and outright dishonesty.

Hey Guys,

So I had an appointment which made me come to school early today, after that I headed to my class, as I walked in tears dropped my eyes, the memories of how crazy my class was during my undergraduate in Naija just came to my mind.

Take a look at a class and washroom and see the difference in the garbage we have back home. A school with every amenities u could ever think of,, name it . But in 9ja all we do is to glorify politicians that are illiterate, incompetent, corrupt and clueless, imagine the kind of president we have in this 21st century coupled with the cabals, how do we move forward?

Let me not talk of TRIBALISM AND ETHNIC BIGOTRY sef.. Well I won't say much, I am happy I left and I am cool but winter will soon come shocked I will only think of Naija if I wanna come to see my Mum and siblings.

We need to do better in that country. Imagine a country with educated elites and see who is ruling us. And worst of it is that many Nigerian youths focus on irrelevant things probably scared of being picked up if they talk. If our government was responsible and accountable we would have had a better place.

Most times the weird and barbaric news I read here its saddening. It wasn't as bad as this when GEJ was in power but we won't accept the truth.

Say whatever u want to say but it doesn't concern me until I decide to come home briefly, I am only speaking for the good of all. angry

May God help Us.. Peace!
[/s]

There’s nothing so special about those pics you showing! We have schools in Naija with Palash structures!

The fact Buhari isn’t doing well doesn’t mean Jonathan didn’t fucck this country up when he had a better chance. He had better conditions with regards to oil prices and many others things tho bokoharam was a major distraction bt that still he was a huge flop based on more opportunities he had.

Buhari has bad economic conditions bt then he’s only made it worse by not making so many smart decisions for the country and on major issues thereby putting us in a more precarious situation. Also he has no economic strategy blueprint to take us out of this mess and achieve his set goals for the country. We are lacking direction when we need it most.

God help us. Make Nigeria Great again! Happy independence!

people like u always have a way of supporting this clueless government, maybe u have not heard the level of borrowing going in this administration, I supported Buhari in his first tenure but have come to realise that this government is not in anyway better than the previous government we should learn to deal with the truth at times it won't hurt.

Yes, and we were borrowing under GEJ and under Yaradua too...

Want to know why?

Nigeria relies on oil...and right now, oil is at $80 per barrel. We need it to be at least $140 per barrel to not borrow from anyone.

Last time oil was above $145 was in 2008. Since 2009 it has never been that high.

So we borrow.

Buhari had to borrow. Oil was $75 when he took over, $30 9 months later...and now is up to $70-80. If he did not borrow....the state of the economy would have been worse than it is.

The way forward is simple....remove fuel and power subsidy...which would attract investors who in return for chanrging us N300 per liter and above for fuel will build more refineries, invest in gas production, which would in turn take care of our energy needs...and lead us to a point where we would fire our industrial sector to be an actively exporting and job creating sector...to the point where we would earn enough money to be as rich as Canada.

But you Nigerians want to be spoon fed every day. Even when we don't have the money. And you vote for the same old unimaginative politicians...APC or PDP. So at the end of the day, we keep on throwing billions away....

Anyway, time we faced reality. Nigeria must industrialze before we can become a wealthy nation. APC must stop this their economy of exporting stuff and wasting it on imports. We cannot continue.

And you would claim to be analytical.

It's truly a shame there are many that reason like you.

Granted more funding should be made towards education, I daresay we are a poor nation and we truly cannot afford it.

In any case, should the provision be made for even higher funding, your likes would poopoo it to be a scheme for looting money.

You guys did it with Npower and said it with TraderMoni.

Truly a shame.

Well FYI, I studied in Nigeria and Germany and I can tell u categorically that your precious Nigerian government is just enslaving youths with those schemes you mentioned... Keep justifying their wickedness with your yeye unbalanced and bias analysis.

Imagine comparing how much an international student in Canada pays with how much Nigerians pay in Nigeria... As if Nigerians are supposed to pay 3m in their country for decent school environment. Yeye dey smell.

I don’t know why you guys do this.

Yes, we know, the abroad is better than Nigeria. We get it.

The same shoddy classrooms you are putting down is the one that we all went through. Yet we made it all over the world into lofty professions.

You’ve left. Great.

Same is happening in Alberta right now. There is hardship since the crash of oil.

Which hardship are u talking about in Alberta.that people are begging for food or what?? dat after d crash of oil , politicians are embezzling citizens money and tax.tell me now....Bros, nja is nose-diving take it or leave it

I thought the youths enjoyed doing this and poverty mentality was in their DNA.

Once somebody leaves the country that is when their eyes clear. The funny thing is once they come back their mentality resets back to the “our politicans should” mindset.

OP, enjoy yourself while there. Don’t come back if not you’ll have yourself to blame.

Politicians are not the ones that dump refuse in the middle of the road in broad daylight, its fellow Nigerians. The same dump refuse inside gutters and then fall sick from disease associated with dirty stagnant water in the same gutters. Fellow Nigerians put a/c all over their houses but do a electrical bypass and pay only 1000 for electricity bill then turn around to blame government for not providing electricity.

Are the politicians not Nigerians?
The Apple does not fall far from the tree na.
See those shouting and screaming online everyday, just give them small political assignment and they will be worst than the old recycled politicians we have.

The kind of lawlessness an average Nigerian display every minute is mind blowing.
We virtually don't have laws and nobody obeys any.

I don't trade words with a Buharist
Many of you lack logic

The country's leaders inspire the people to be patriotic
not the other way round

George Washington, Binyamin Franklin's, Andrew Johnson and the.rest (awon Jefferson) inspired the entire American state to be patriotic by their words, actions and.sacrifice

Queen Victoria and the elite class of U.K. then inspired the people to put the interest of the crown first, even at the expense of their lives

Napoleon did same for France

Mao Zedong for the Chinese

And Hitler for the Germans (tho his own later.turned destructive )

is it this half dead, son of a birch called Buhari that will inspire that need to be patriotic in Nigeria?

or that lazy man called GEJ

or that bastard Junkie in bourdillon?

when you guys talk, you guys should reason properly

The Nigerian is not inspired in any way to be patriotic

Just as it is difficult to wake a man who pretends to sleep, you cannot inspire a man who has made up his mind to hate.

Stop misleading people.

Nigerians are simply not analytical by nature.

Too many self-entitled people who believe there's an infinite pool of wealth through which magic can happen.

Nigerians don't read and Nigerians don't research.

A boy at 16 years who engages in online fraud till his 30s cannot help foster change.

There is no need for insults when voicing ones opinion against the other, the readers will see it and make up their minds on the truth.

Government has their own part to play but the citizens have more to do. Government built the east west road near me with drainage but guess what, the citizens keep dumping stuff in the drainage and now its blocked. Small rain everywhere is flooded and cars have to take a swim temporally.

In that same country we have universities that are still lacking facilities. Moreover we have lecture rooms that are Upto standard in Nigeria. So enjoy yours there. You're paying millions there in the aforementioned school and you can't compare it to school here in Nigeria we pay minimum 12k. We love this countryside. The class no d put book for your head.

The balance is were subsidy comes in. You see the difference in the money you just mentioned, government can pump in enough money to make it up but that money is looted by the people we elected as political leaders.

The GDP of Germany is 3.7 trillion dollars (with a population of 67 million i.e about 446 thousand dollars per person on average), The GDP of France is 2.6 trillion dollars (with a population of 67 million i.e about 389 thousand dollars per person on average) and the GDP of Nigeria is 376 billion dollars - more 2 orders of magnitude less (with a population of 190 million i.e about 2 thousand dollars per person on average). So even if there was no corruption, the average Nigerian will still not be able to have the same standard of living as the average German or French.

It is sad when outsiders call you a derogatory name, but when you call yourself by the same name its a tragedy.

STOP blaming government. We have been blaming government since the days of Azikwe. Its time to blame Nigerians themselves. After all the government is not from outer space

are you trying to absolve the govt from blame?
The govt holds more of the blame

even tho the citizens hold their own share of the blame

And yes, it's NiggerArea
it's a NiggerLand

that's what it is
no need to pretend about it.
travel around like some of us
come back in Say one year
And then compare

you will know why I call the country NiggerLand.

The GDP is poor
whose fault is it?
the case resources cannot be managed well
whose fault is it

you have an economic terrorist in Aso rock reducing the abslolute percentage allocation year in year out to education
while pushing tooth and nail for ruga to care for foreign herdsmen
what do you have to say about that?

1. Can you pay the taxes that the average Canadian pays , at the same rate?

2.Canada has less than 30 million people....Nigeria has 200million people. And our annual budget is far less than what Canada spends on prinary school educaiton in their country.

3.Canada has an actively exporting industrial sector. Nigeria....all of you guys think of economics is that 'we export raw materials to the West, and share the money to import stuff from the same West.'. You won't vote for polticans who would stimulate industrial growth because it means an end to spoon feeding welfare politics.

4.Canda's GDP: 1.653 TRILLION dollars. (2017). Nigeria's GDP : 375.8million. Now keep in mind Canda has 30million people compared to Nigeria's 200 MILLION .

If you want Canada level...you have to be willing to pay at Canada level.
