Hey Guys,

So I had an appointment which made me come to school early today, after that I headed to my class, as I walked in tears dropped my eyes, the memories of how crazy my class was during my undergraduate in Naija just came to my mind.

Take a look at a class and washroom and see the difference in the garbage we have back home. A school with every amenities u could ever think of,, name it . But in 9ja all we do is to glorify politicians that are illiterate, incompetent, corrupt and clueless, imagine the kind of president we have in this 21st century coupled with the cabals, how do we move forward?

Let me not talk of TRIBALISM AND ETHNIC BIGOTRY sef.. Well I won't say much, I am happy I left and I am cool but winter will soon come shocked I will only think of Naija if I wanna come to see my Mum and siblings.

We need to do better in that country. Imagine a country with educated elites and see who is ruling us. And worst of it is that many Nigerian youths focus on irrelevant things probably scared of being picked up if they talk. If our government was responsible and accountable we would have had a better place.

Most times the weird and barbaric news I read here its saddening. It wasn't as bad as this when GEJ was in power but we won't accept the truth.

Say whatever u want to say but it doesn't concern me until I decide to come home briefly, I am only speaking for the good of all. angry

May God help Us.. Peace!

You were making sense until u wrote the bolded. Makes me want to break open ur skul. Berra leave prejudice outta this.

Unless your career is in the oil sector if not u relocate.. I will verify your claim though...

So now how much is oil and who is the cause since u referenced GEJ
Is either you are playing politics or you didn't understand what he was saying.

He didn't tell you whether he wanted to relocates or not,but his messages was that there's hardship right now in every crude oil exporting countries most esp.countries that have it as their sole earning.

I think you are hearing what's going on in Venezuela

Funny how we blame our leaders and don't look inward ourselves.

Nigerian people fight at BRT stops and blame Buhari

We destroy government properties and blame the government

We go out of the Country and act hostile to the host communities, and it's still our government

Several Countries are already weary of Nigerians, yet all we scream is the government.

I sincerely hope the school you are attending in Canada is government owned because it most likely is not.

There is a fundermental flaw in the mindset of a black man, especially the Nigerian black man. And the earlier we accept it and work on it the better.

Cheers and congrats on ur admission and migration.

Well I attended a federal university where we paid nearly next to nothing (some very "local" PRIMARY SCHOOLS charge as much as N20K per term which translate to N60K per year while my UNIVERSITY was charging less than NxxK per year!), but our classrooms were air-conditioned (at least my faculty).

As far as I know, public education is the only free gift we're enjoying in Nigeria. The small fees we pay are just for formalities.

Are you complaining about the state of affairs in Nigeria? Are you tired of failed promises? Are you tired of being helpless? So are we! What are you doing about it? If you answered, “nothing” This is your opportunity to contribute. From group representative volunteers to simply spreading the message and everything in between, there’s a role for everyone!http://ndpra.home.blog

What I am interested in is comprehensive details of how you get there in a lawful way. Scammers, called agents are everywhere in Nigeria and they can't get a kobo out of my hard-earned money.

Actually, this is not a fair comparison.

International students pay an average of 3million naira in Canada per year but Nigerian schools charge an average of say 100k. (Rough estimates)

It's called getting exactly what you pay for. Good class rooms, but it's no big deal.

Okay...so those amenities and quality education are only for international student because dey pay 3million rough estimate abi

You goofed when you started saying it wasn't worst during GEJ. The same mentality that led us here is what you have displayed. We have always lacked the right amenities, development and attitude GEJ or not. Be truthful to yourself.

your analysis is also wrong, Canada's economy gives the opportunity to work and earn wages that can pay that 3million naira equivalent school fees you are talking about. How many Nigerians can even pay the less than 100k naira school fees for Nigerian schools?

the fees of a Canadian studying is about 7000 dollars averagely.
convert that to naira. its about 2.5million.
so what are u saying
Oga not all the universities pay up to this amount for example in Concordia university that i know indigenes pay only 2700CAD that is equivalent of 2000 USdollars,
Secondly canadian government fund numerous scholarship program for tertiary institution that benefits thousands of indigenes annually.
