Bro do your research.... Most Anambra west folks speak Igbo and Igala... They can choose to be known by either of the two languages.

I am from Oyi and i and my sisters speak igbo and igala fluently.
Are you indigenous Igbo or igala and what are the names of you and your siblings?

why are you even wasting your time with all these narratives - as if u dont know its a calculated plan to make the igbo language a minority language.

you should av noticed how he added igala to anambra state and even put it first as if they are the dominant language.

aside from that, you should av noticed how he did his very best to exclude igbo language from the entire south-south.

ndi uchu!
you igbos must find something to talk...the op said igala is minority in anambra...which is your issue...

There are indigenous Akwa Ibom around Akwatte area of Abia and there are indigenous Igbos in Akwa Ibom.

There is a town called Ibom in Arochukwu and it has indigenous Ibibios.

The fact you don't know doesn't mean they don't exist.
actually there are no indigenous Ibibios in arochukwu rather a lot of them are bilingual. They speak Igbo and Ibibio.

How can you compose Ebonyi ethnic group list without Ehugbo tribe in it ?2,you failed coz idoma is fluently spoken in some part of izzi that borders benue(a community carved out during “Salt of the nation” creation .
Ehugbo is Afikpo and a subgroup of Igbo just like mbaise, Ngwa, Nsukka, Orlu ..mention them

I pity who will take your write up serious

you just listed igala as a major language in Anambra. you even wrote it before Igbo.

listed ikwerre as a separate language from Igbo in Rivers. listed ika and ukwuani which are essentially Igbo dialects as separate from " Delta Igbo" but failed to note that egun is spoken in lagos. Also untonkon is a town in Benue not a language , their language is Igbo. The problem is that Nigerians grope proudly in institutionalized ignorance

Thanks for your correction. IJEBU is also among the language we speak in Lagos

Efere means soup in Ibibio but means Plate in igbo.
Udoh means second son in ibibio, but means something else in igbo... There are words like that... I. Every border the language there will try to take in both sides, but guy there are no part of akwa ibom speaking igbo language... If you are so sure, lets call the Mods, put a bet on it, arrqnge to meet and then go on a tour..
Don't even act dumb, I mentioned Cross Rivers state.. The time you have spent wallowing in ignorance here I have spent one-tenth of that time to get infos about those communities and even met some on their Facebook page but you choose ignorance.

Read a story once told by the reverred Igwe Aguleri Idigo I and his account of how the Name Anambra came about was that it was gotten from mmiri omambala which the white man pronounced as river anambra... I agree with this school of thought more cos the river pre-dated the birth of Anambra state. The anam branch story was a first for me today.

yeah its just a corruption of omambala... that guy was just trolling
