Html
Css
JavaScript
Css frameworks (bootstrap, bulma, materialize)
JavaScript frontend frameworks (react, Vue, angular)

This should be your path. If you choose to venture into other languages or backend its all up to you when you have conquered these above.

Also learn to use Css and javascript libraries for various stuff.

Yeah libraries are different from frameworks.

Why would you jump to PHP without learning HTML? like starting Primary 1 without going to KG.

Start from HTML, CSS AND J QUERY, they are not programming languages but a better start for you to learn JAVASCRIPT, PHP and the rest of them.

It depends on what you want to achieve with what you want to learn

Mayb U Want To Learn How To Design A Website, Then U've To Start With Html, When U're Done With That, U Move To CSS And Then Gradually To The Others. That's It.

HTML and CSS are not really programming languages. real programming starts from JavaScript.

Depends on factors. Though most programmers in Nigeria are self taught but it'd require extreme discipline, dedication and willingness to go on. Personally this is the best route, just gum yourself to a seasoned programmer to help you through rough patches.

A school could provide you with mentoring and guidance but your learning could be extended so they keep you paying fees to learn more.

Depends on how sharp ur brain is.. I learnt HTML and PHP in a programming institute. but I learnt CSS and JavaScript online. PHP is somehow complicated, so you need someone to teach you in person.

What Is Compulsory Is That U'll Nid To Learn To Be Able To Do It Ursef. Those Mentions Are Ways Of Learning, U Can As Well Decide To Get A Book & Learn. Or Beta Still, U Can Send Me A Mail For Online Training If U're In 4it. chuks.tg2@yahoo.com --- My Charges I Believe Are Moderate Considering The Expenses During The Training.

No, if you can motivate yourself, if you've internet and access to right resources.
YOu can learn on your own and also, make friends with programmers or join forums to get helps (stackoverflow is an example).

Yes, if you cant motivate yourself. They say, iron sharpeneth iron.

I'm learning it online, using the application "Sololearn"
I save the courses offline and then learn when I'm less busy
The app asks you questions after each explanation so you actually flow along with it.

And also I do watch videos on YouTube.

If you read my post very closely, you'll see that I mentioned Coursera. It is a free online learning platform.

It is not compulsory to attend computer school unless you can afford it.

let me advise you,

all these jaga-jaga learning styles will not help you. go to udemy and buy a course and focus on the area you want to specialize in(web, app, data science etc). then you can use sololearn, youtube, books etc side by side. don't waste time.

Op this poster I am quoting has given you all the answers you need. He has some other suggestions that are useful too. The answer he gave you took me 1year plus to stumble to an industry expert Hanson Johnson who gave me the same advice. Case closed. The only thing I will add is anyone you choose to learn, focus on it and avoid the temptation of trying to know other ones until you have achieved your aim with the one you are learning .
Elijahrona:
You're getting it wrong. Programming is best learnt when you've got a purpose for it. Ask yourself why you want to learn programming. Do you want to make an app or a webpage or a program for a machine? You've got to be specific with why you're learning programming because different languages have their different purposes. For App, I suggest Java, Kotlin, JavaScript (using react native), etc. For webpage, I'd suggest JavaScript, CSS, HTML, etc or PHP.

To answer your question, HTML is the easiest to learn followed by CSS (my personal opinion though). I still stand that you know why/what you want to program.

(Some will say HTML CSS aren't languages though)

Since you don't have knowledge about any before.
First, choose a path, Programming is different from web design & development.
No one will choose your path for you, decide on that first.

Web design & development - start with HTML => CSS => PHP & MYSQL

Programming: you can start with Python or JAVA.

Edited: I hope this helps... there are tons of materials online also.... Check out this website for ebooks: https://www.pdfdrive.com
