Don't worry much about baby's position.Its too early to worry on that.
You were given the right drugs just keep taking them .
The injection on your arm is tetanus injection used to prevent neonatal tetanus.

Please I need advise.
I went for scan yesterday (on my own just to see how the baby is doing). Everything is okay except for the placenta position which is.. Placenta: Posterior Fundal. I asked the sonographer if there is need to go to hospital before my appointment day 17th of this Month but he said no need that it may change position before that day.

I am worried with what I read on google about it.
Has any one experienced this before? Is it something to be worried about? Is it normal? Is there anything I can do about it?
Am a FTM.

Secondly my first appointment the doctor(woman) that attended to me I didn't really like her service. She didn't ask me anything except for my LMP and then she gave me my card to collect drugs. I was given calcium,folic acid and iron and also an injection on my arm.
I didn't know what to ask as well because it's my first time.
I am going again this month please is there anything I need to ask?

I'm O+ my wife is O- We had our first child without my wife taking d Anti D drugs due to financial constrain because I lost my job then.. Now that I've gotten a good job n I can afford d drugs nw even if its 5 or more. My wife is pregnant again of our 2nd baby she has gone to register in a private hospital which she explained to d doctor dat she didn't take d drugs at first n d doctor adviced that since she missed d drugs initially she wil hav to take it when she's close to delivery n she wil take another one after delivery that there is no cause for alarm. But I'm very scared based on what I've read severally on NL that if an O- woman fails to take d drugs after delivery of her first baby that the damage can not be rectified. This is y I've not been at peace I dnt knw what to do or whether my wife's doctor is on point or off point. Anybody with Experience shd pls advice me I dnt want anything to happen to d baby n my wife

For the placenta, I don't think there's any need to worry about it until at least January, you can scan again by then and see if it's changed.

I think the placenta issue is one of the topics you should have discussed with your doctor. Also try to gather up all your questions during the month and save them for your next appointments. The doctors just scan through your file, and if there's no issue of concern, they would just do the mandatory physical checkup and try to dismiss you asap to free up time for other patients, especially for 1st appointments.

During my first pregnancy, I used to purposely prolong my antenatal sessions by asking things like:

'When is my next TT'
'How is my PCV'
'Where is my baby's head now'

I cannot spend two hours in the waiting room to comman spend one minute with the doctor.

Just request for anomaly and gender scan.

Even from 14 weeks if the machine is new

You can even find out at 16 weeks. It will be 99% accurate. I found out I’m having a boy today and I just turned 17 weeks.

First experience.
I dilated till 10cm and was pushing for what seemed like forever. I was already begging the nurses to bring out my baby however it takes. All I wanted was to see myself in the theatre and he should just remove the baby anyhow he could. Or better still, he should tear me there gangan and relieve me of this pain.
Alas, he finished the paperwork and everything in what seemed like forever and I was taking to the theatre.
I was shouting to be injected with whatever it is they give people o. Just give it to me, at least, I wouldn't feel this pain again.


I woke up some hours later..

ME : where's my baby?
Mum : She's fine, they're taking care of her.
ME : Drifted off again as the aneasthsia hasn't weared off completely.
Some minutes or hours later, I don't know..
ME : where's my baby?
Mum : She's fine. They're taking care of her.
I drifted off again. I didn't know for how long.
Later..
ME : Did my baby make it?
Aunt : No, she nodded her head.

I lost her on the 28th of October, 2017.

I'll write the second experience later.

Good evening mamas, please how important is the subsequent doses of TT injections after pregnancy, cos I heard the dose extends.

BA BA BA!!! Mummies thank you for all your support, I don born boy ooo. 3.6kg around 6pm, VJ with tear .... BS later.
