First, Ohaobu is coined from two Igbo words Oha which means "people" and "Obi" which refers to where a King lives or first son of a large extended family receives visitors.

Second, the full name is Ohaobu Ndoki

Third, it is the most important town of the Ndoki people of Abia State.

Fourth, Ohaobu Ndoki is located in Azumili in Ukwa part of Abia

Fifth, Ndoki people speak Igbo fluently

Sixth, the former Senate President Adolphous Nwagbara is from Ndoki part of Abia

Seventh, We have Ohaobu Ndoki in Ukanafun LGA of Akwa Ibom, they speak Igbo and answer Igbo names likes Igwe, Ngozi, Okafor, Emeka, Mili, Wagbara e.t.c

Eighth, Ohaobu Ndoki in Ukanafun has never denied their Igboness and most of them trade around Opobo area within Aba, in Abia State dealing on palm oil.

Ninth, Ohaobu Ndoki in Akwa Ibom are marginalized though the government is addressing the injustices.

Tenth, below are few newspaper extract that shows we have Ohaobu Ndoki in Akwa Ibom State

AKSG to commence free education at Ohaobu, September

The Akwa Ibom State Government is to extend free and compulsory education policy to Ohaobu Community in Ukanafun Local Government Area next September.

The commissioner for education in the State, Prof (Mrs) Atim Antai disclosed this at Ohaobu during an inspection visit to the area on Friday.

The commissioner explained that the visit followed a letter of appeal by the community some months before that their primary school shut down for some years ago. She stated that the school would be re-opened so that their children should enjoy the free education policy of the State Government. She described education as a veritable instrument for the development of the youths who are the leaders of tomorrow.

Again:

Lagos — ABOUT 12 persons have so far been killed by toxic gas leakage in Ohaobu Ndoki, Ukanafun local government area of Akwa Ibom State. About three weeks ago, the gas leaked from a scrapple firm in the village which links gas to the multi-billion naira Aluminium Smelter Company (ALSCON), Ikot Abasi.

Finally:
Just search "Ohaobu community" on Google

HONOURABLE MENTION
Obuagu (Heart of a Lion) is another Igbo community in Akwa Ibom, was caved out of the present Obuagu community in Ebonyi.

Anyway, that is a topic for another day.

Enemies of Ndi Igbo, stay away from Igboland. No room for land grabbing, we will defend Igboland even if it is an inch with our blood.

Ndoki and Akwaette gives us direct access to the Atlantic Ocean from Abia.

So enemies of Ndi Igbo who grows everyday by shouting "Igboland is landlocked" are seeking for ways to grab those God-given beautiful lands.

Of course, Igbo's are in Akwa Ibom. At the same time, the Aro Igbos have high Ibibio content. Enemies if the Igbo's and Akwa Ibom friendship are trying to truncate the truth but they have already failed.

They are not indigenous to Akwa Ibom, the indigenous we should be talking about here should lie on the transformed Igbo's and ibibios who are occupying Arochukwu which is an indigenous Ibibio land.

These guys you are hampering on are a small community who had trespassed on people's land and refused to leave, they had to be carved in to the state as they had no place to go. They are occupying Ibibio land and it was fair not to turn them to displaced people. If not, the land would have fallen under Abia territory.

That's why people have problem with the Igbo's, they come and trade and buy land before you know it, the land has become an extension of their ancestry.

This is one thing I hate, we acknowledge the fact that there are Igbos in Akwa abasi Ibom but saying without u guys we are nothing is a foolish statement, the igbos don't even make up to 30% of the indigenous tribes after Ibibio, Annang, Eket and Oron tribes

Take away knits ha and Enugu that were made through FG impact and planning which other town in your entire Igbo land is not Stone Age.

In the second, the influx of Igbo's into Akwa Ibom started during Goodswill Akapbio's tenure - the oil boom era. Virtually 90% of them that constitute the population in Akwa Ibom, came in droves during that era, why didn't they come before then?

Come to Uyo, they are beginning to go back are competition is getting steep.
