Ochendo1:

A little education for the ignorant....

Mr. Uwemedimo Nwoko is a Nigerian legal practitioner, politician, human rights activist and the current Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Akwa Ibom State.

Nwoko was born on October 27, 1964 in Abiakana, in Ika Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

He is from an Igbo speaking part of Akwa-Ibom State.

In December 2014, former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Chief Godswill Akpabio forwarded Nwoko's name to the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly for screening and eventual appointment as the state's Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.

On January 13, 2015, he was given the job. He became the 14th Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of Akwa Ibom State.

In mid-2015, he was re-appointed the state's Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice by the incumbent governor, Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.
May the Heaven bless you beyond measure.

Let keep telling them until it sinks into their ignorant skull.

All the Igbo communities renamed to Annang will be returned to their original names.

Land grabbing thieves!

A few villages in Ika Local Government Area have historical and cultural affiliations to the Igbo people. Villages like Ikot Inyang (Formerly known as Oboeze- meaning Umubueze ( People of Kings) in Igbo language) has strong affiliations with the Igbo people.

First, Ohaobu is coined from two Igbo words Oha which means "people" and "Obi" which refers to where a King lives or first son of a large extended family receives visitors.

Second, the full name is Ohaobu Ndoki

Third, it is the most important town of the Ndoki people of Abia State.

Fourth, Ohaobu Ndoki is located in Azumili in Ukwa part of Abia

Fifth, Ndoki people speak Igbo fluently

Sixth, the former Senate President Adolphous Nwagbara is from Ndoki part of Abia

Seventh, We have Ohaobu Ndoki in Ukanafun LGA of Akwa Ibom, they speak Igbo and answer Igbo names likes Igwe, Ngozi, Okafor, Emeka, Mili, Wagbara e.t.c

Eighth, Ohaobu Ndoki in Ukanafun has never denied their Igboness and most of them trade around Opobo area within Aba, in Abia State dealing on palm oil.

Ninth, Ohaobu Ndoki in Akwa Ibom are marginalized though the government is addressing the injustices.

Tenth, below are few newspaper extract that shows we have Ohaobu Ndoki in Akwa Ibom State

HONOURABLE MENTION
Obuagu (Heart of a Lion) is another Igbo community in Akwa Ibom, was caved out of the present Obuagu community in Ebonyi.

Anyway, that is a topic for another day.

Enemies of Ndi Igbo, stay away from Igboland. No room for land grabbing, we will defend Igboland even if it is an inch with our blood.

Ndoki and Akwaette gives us direct access to the Atlantic Ocean from Abia.

So enemies of Ndi Igbo who grows everyday by shouting "Igboland is landlocked" are seeking for ways to grab those God-given beautiful lands.

Take away onitsha and Enugu that were made through FG impact and planning, which other town in your entire Igbo land is not Stone Age.

In the second, the influx of Igbo's into Akwa Ibom started during Goodswill Akapbio's tenure - the oil boom era. Virtually 90% of them that constitute the population in Akwa Ibom, came in droves during that era, why didn't they come before then?

Come to Uyo, they are beginning to go back as competition is getting steep.

Quit your hate and develop your ARROGANT IGBO mindset that kills you all.
the person you are quoting is not igbo

I believe somebody told you earlier on
go and check his posts and see him insulting igbo
majority of monikers here that you see bashing and insulting most Niger delta tribes are mostly Yorubas hiding under igbo names

I believe the problem here is the rising profile of AKS, which is attracting a lot of investments, migration etc and making them better known in Nigeria, compared to before. Many of the newer states are in a similar position, but AKS especially because they have proximity to the sea and oil.

In former years, AKS was not really considered "celebrity" status, unlike now when the state and indigenes are more exposed and they seem to have lots of ongoing development.

And with the current situation in SA, AKS might need to create opportunities and places for returning Nigerians to settle or relocate to. We've heard so much about the improvements etc that are going on in the state. Although, on the other hand, people should also ask nicely (or negotiate properly), for what they want, I wouldn't know if this is the right way to go about it.

Just my opinion.

The problem is that few miscreants can't bear the fact that there are Igbo communities in AKS.

It has nothing to do with any development.

This is an afonja. How you guys missed this is mind blowing. You see; these people know what they are doing. Now they have seen there are native Igbos in Akwa Ibom, what next? They devised another tactics for Ibibios to hate Igbos by comments like this "Without igbos akwa ibom is nothing."

Same person as the person he replied "BeShootingLot." Igbos and Ibibio beware of these afonjas and how far they will go to divide us. They use one handle to create divisive post, and use another to buttress that division to gain credibility. Our people must be very very vigilant otherwise we will fall victims to the 1967-2015 division before the coming of Nnamdi Kanu.

I have always warned our Akwa Ibom people to be careful with these Igbo people.
Igbo people are very dangerous and they should never be trusted.
You welcome Igbo people into your state or community and a few years later they will start claiming the place .
Mbio uneghe should never be trusted.
Ndito Ibibio ye Annang and Oron mbok edo very careful.
They are trying to befriend us and get us into their Biafra because of our oil.
Every Akwa Ibom person should shine their eyes.

Supposing there is a small igbo speaking community in Akwa Ibom state, does that give Igbos/Biafra the right to claim the whole state?

Igbo community in Akwa Ibom State?
This is exactly the problem with Igbo people, you welcome them into your community and they will claim they own it.
Akwa Ibom people should be very careful with these dangerous snakes and learn from the mistakes of Rivers State and Delta state.
Mbok don't trust mbio uneghe ke eyem aran isong nyin.
The Igbo man should never ever be trusted.
They want to put us in their Biafra so they can use our oil to build their place.

DO NOT SELL YOUR LAND TO IGBO PEOPLE IN AKWA IBOM STATE.
AKWA IBOM EDO VERY CAREFUL MBOK.
They are already starting to talk about Igbo community in Akwa Ibom State.
