So this issue is still trending right. Nice one from the SS’ners, at least you’re setting the record straight.

I know the SS and the SE share some blood of brotherhood, but even in the face of friendship it’s good to always set the record straight when you see your brother is trying to take you for a fool and going all out to oppress you.

The Igbos in their show of superiority always think they can suppress the will of the average SS’ners, it may sound awkward but they always try to project it in a way that they are sub-superior to them and that can also be seen to manifest on this thread.

Ask yourself, what exactly does the SS need you? The Igbos needs the SS more than the SS’ners need them? Just like how Nigeria needs the SS’ners more.

Even if Biafra is allowed to be conceived with the SS included in it, the writings are already on the wall that the Igbos will try all they can to dominate all the ethnic minorities and it might turn be a case of Igbos behaving as the fulanis in Biafra.

The reason is because, the Igbos are homogenous tribe and the rest of the minorities are scattered, Ibibio, Edo, Itsekiri, Ijaw, Urhobo, etc., that means the Igbos can easily divide them to always maintain superiority and lord over them for eternity.

It’s just common sense and this is also part of what Adaka Boro saw then that made him call for secession from the defunct eastern region. For the Igbos to put the SS in their Biafra, they have to show some respect to the SS’ner because those guys (SS) are golden and they have the resources to become the Dubai of Africa.

I’m Yoruba before anyone tries to attack me, I’m just giving my opinion.

That's the exact reason lugard carved you guys to Nigeria from Benin republic and Togo.

You live in west but more concerned to what Happens here.

I hv told you guys to know how to drag your borders to connect all these states and have peace...

We can as well make history by saying Ogun state borders Akwa-Ibom....

So you're not ashamed that after being busted as a Yoruba on several occasions, you still stick with this monicker masquerading as an Akwa Ibom. Why are you ashamed of your tribe?
So if I call you a Kanuri person, it becomes the truth?

Don't expect akwa Ibom to join in the ipob movement because they were never part of ipob. Even if a segregation happens tomorrow, Akwa Ibom would be the most contested state to be part of either side for one reason:

Crude oil & natural gas

Just as you have Akwa Ibomites in Iboland, same way we do have Iboes in Akwa Ibom. Where you're getting the idea that there's unwarranted hate for Iboes in Akwa Ibom is unfounded. People don't hate you when you've done nothing wrong. Maybe your predecessor did and now they're more careful and rather not get too close to you. Akwa Ibom should be the least worry of Iboes because the state has been nothing but accommodating to thousands of Iboes in the state today living and creating wealth for themselves.

There's hate in South Africa for Nigerians

In Malaysia, Cambodia, phillipines etc, Nigerians are caught and prosecuted for scam and drug related offences.

A couple are on death row in a couple of countries in the middle East

List is endless.

Akwa Ibom shouldn't be your issue because they don't owe you allegiance nor hospitality (even though they've already done that). Don't forget it's their land: the ibibios, anaangs and eket.

However, I strongly believe that a Biafra between Ndiigbo and SS minorities will end up as disastrous as South Sudan.
It doesn't make any sense for Ndiigbo to escape a babel of confusion called Nigeria, only to entangle unborn Igbo generations with another encumbrance by getting cobbled together with the myriads of ethnic groups in SS.

I personally only subscribe to an Igbo-Igboid only Biafra, between SE and willing (They will only be incorporated into Biagra if they indicate interest to join , as I don't support forceful annexation. ) Igbo speaking communities in SS.

Under such a country, we can elevate Igbo language to a lingual franca, build the nation on Igbo based cultural values and social orientations , without any one shouting of Igbo domination. It will be a befitting homogeneous nation, worthy of being handed over to our successors.

We can always maintain cordial relationship with our Minorities neighbours and partner with them in ventures of mutual interest.

Ka Chineke Mezie Okwu.

Thank you and once again I have to agree with you.

I am happy someone has same intentions as I do.

Nnamdi Kanu should be clearly warn to make his agitations strictly SE/Igbo issue. That's a model and a country that will work.

Incoporating all these SS is creation of another Nigeria...that will be worse than Sudan.

That has been my thoughts. SE is enough to be a country while SS should continue with Nigeria.

Is a very simple fact...

Don't go there. Our brothers in the SS can never love you more than us. Get that!
Even though IPOB seems foolish in their bid to drag unwilling minorities into their Biafra, no true Igbo wants the SS with us.
The only people who share same destiny with us in Nigeria and in post Nigeria are our kins stuck in that enclave. As a matter of fact, if you want trouble, serious trouble you try put your hands in their matter. We don't joke with them, and they don't joke with us.
Maybe you guys don't understand. The only reason the denials among them seem to be making noise is because we're still stuck in Nigeria. Once Nigeria disintegrates (which I don't pray for) that is when you'll understand that ethnicity isn't friendship. It's a matter of life and blood.
"You people, you guys" who are you referring to, do you even know my ethnicity? Anytime anyone doesn't buy your idea, he/she becomes you people as if you had proved to us that you're truely Igbo yourself.

Question still remains, have the Igbos of the SE or SS told you that they want Biafra and if yes, give us a link. Not IPOB's lies and propaganda, I mean from the representatives of the people

I have said it everywhere to those who have ears that IPOB will fade out just like MASSOB. An illiterate group controlled by one supreme Jewish man knowns nothing about the geography of his supposed Biafra. He knows nothing about Igbo history and is only suffering from self ego.
The group that will lead Igbo's are yet to be formed. When such group comes, we'll embrace them wholeheartedly.

A typical Igboman will never enter allow an illiterate lead us into gloom with a jaundiced Biafra. Only an Igbo group that will unite all Igbo territories are what we want and shall form in due time.
IPOB are the reason why some nonentities are getting at us because of a useless map. The same way MASSOB ridiculed themselves in the midst of these Igbo haters is the same way Kanu and his IPOB are ridiculing us with their illiteracy.
The Igbo nation haven't spoken yet, we never appointed IPOB our leaders, and no group of person should feel special because of one useless map.
Now you've spoken well, was this not what we've been telling IPOBians all the while?

I don't fucking care which insignificant tribe you come from in SS but which ever tribe you come from cannot stand shoulder to shoulder with the mighty Igbos in all ramifications. Let me make it clear to you. I'm someone who hate the way IPOB are putting the self-filled hate tribes in Ss into the map of biafra. Igboland is enough to be a country and has all it needs to be an independent nation. There are many countries who are not even up to the size of Igboland that are doing great why should the igbo need haters to join them in biafra.
Should biafra be declared today no inch of igboland should be left behind, even if we didn't take it now( because Yoruba and Hausa will influence on the maps) we will take it later when therei s no yoruba and hausa to influence. The same way Russia annexed Crimea and even reaching out to Donestky is the way we will annex all our people left behind.

God bless you again

Igboland is large enough to be a country.

Nnamdi and his Ipob adding these SS tribes is creation of another Nigeria that won't work.

you made a lot of sense, but saying yorubas are not our enemies is a big mistake. They are our most dangerous enemies. It wasn't a Fulani or Niger Delta man who killed 3 million Igbos by starvation.
We must deal with the fulanis but we must deal with the Yoruba first
Deal with them by telling Igbos in the SW to start heading East. Let's start with that

My friend, stop over hyping those insignificant trbes. Don't make the mighty igbos look less before those people. They said countless times that we are not one why can't we igbos chart our own course and move on.
What do they have that igbos don't have. Biafra being a homogeneous country will make it even better and stronger. Should Nigeria desolve today let niger delta form their own country without any part of igboland in it be it in delta, rivers, akwa ibom, bayelsa, edo and cross river.

What other things are the igbos lacking that made them to be insulted by some insignificant tribes, some of which are not even up to a million.
Even the oil you claimed that you have is controlled by hausa/fulani and yoruba. I'm sure you are jobless despite oil in your doorstep.

The problem of the Igbos is fighting for anyone that is being oppressed irrespective of where the person comes from.

Another problem of the Igbos is their inability to identify their enemies. Enemy of my Enemy is my friend NO DEY WORK.

The Igbos known enemy is the Fulanis BUT the Igbos worst and unknown enemy is the people of South South.

The Yorubas are neither our enemy nor our problem.

Ta ka bu gbuo

I have said this several times here on Nairaland. Personally, I want an only Igbo Biafra. And I am sure several Igbos want this same.

IPOB may have there reason for still holding on to the Old Biafra, but we can still chart a New Biafra of only Igbos.

Divide and rule easily works with these SS people and we won't need such loop holes in Biafra.
