Why should people know Aba touts when they don’t travel to your South East. The reason why you guys know so much about Yoruba land is because you have swamped our region and you know everything about us.

I’ve been to the East, I’ve seen the poverty, forget about the rubbish chestbeating online by you guys, that SE is not a place for growth.

I’ve been to Enugu and Ebonyi, I’ve been to Nkalagu precisely and the level of poverty I saw in those place is a matter of concern. Even major roads are rubbish, you can’t even drive those roads without getting heart attacks.

People won’t know coz they see the SE as an alien land such that little Nigerians try to even sojourn to the East compared to how people swamp the SW.

Every time they talk about richest, they bring up Adenugas, Alakijas. Those are not who you are supposed to be talking about. An average Igbo man hustles far more than an average Yoruba man. Majority of yorubas do white collar jobs, those that receive salaries are comfortable and not multimillionaires. You can't compare them to their Igbo counterparts who are majorly businessmen. You don't rate them because you see them in small shops but majority of those guys are multi-millionaires with assets that will surprise you. Many make your monthly salaries in a few hours. Most Igbo businessmen don't show off their wealth for fear of government clampdown that is why many are not rated by Forbes. If you don't know Forbes is by choice, you need to open up to them before they can rate you. Igbo people buy properties everywhere in Nigeria even in your Lagos, they own many properties.

On average, Igbos are richer than yorubas.

Majority of igbos are lazy, an unimaginative individual that wants to make money, by all means, the loiter around all the major market across the nation to swindle people off their hard earn money.

Retailing business in most society is the profession of women, Igbo is the only tribe to brag about selling shoes, rice, used the spare parts, fairly used clothes etc in small 8ft x 8ft shops.
Yorubas are great entrepreneur, academicians, carpenters, bricklayer, bankers, auto mechanics, banker, stockbrokers, ICT experts etc.

Yorubas dominate the banking industry, insurance, construction, music and every other industry that a level of skill and know-how is required

Yorubas are lazy. They only like to present Mike Adenuga, Otedola and even Dangote and co (an Hausa mam) to us each time they want to boast of how well they are doing in business while we are talking about our numerous young igbos scattered across the country who are doing small scale, medium scale and large scale enterprises. Yoruba here are even happy that their youths are doing tout jobs of collecting kobo kobo from our traders.

lol
Your touts at upper iweka, aba etc are nothing to write home about.
Yorubas are not zombies like the Igbos who are 90 percent small scale traders.
Yorubas are evenly spread in all professions. This is why Yoruba is way,way richer than the Igbos.
Oluomo will buy all the touts in the SE.
Alakija only will pocket all the billionaires in the SE.
Falana will pocket all the lawyers in the SE and they are even few.
Doyin will pocket all the traders in and from the SE.
Sujibomi will pocket all the estate developers from SE and they are very few..
The list goes on..
Do you know that Yorubas are still the most successful business moguls from Nigeria staying abroad with massive firms.
Yorubas dominate the UK and are the greatest and highest remitters of foreign exchange remittances from abroad in Africa.
Yorubas are real silent achievers. They have been achievers even when some people were still learning how to wear clothes in 1921.

What are you talking about? Do you mean there ain’t Yorubas dealing in retail business ? Do you mean to say the main market Bodija, Ogunpa, Gate, Aleshinloye, etc in Ibadan for example are not consisted of rich traders?

You guys problem is that you’re under the fixation that everybody is in competition with you and you just boast over irrelevances.

An IT professional alone that is successful can generate millions of dollars in revenue in a short time, something a retailer might not be able to generate in their lifetime.

Look at all those Lace, ankara, and Aso Ebi market, do you know how much all those people generate? You’re just an example of empty vessels make the loudest noise.

The Yorubas practice a highly diversified economy, we have IT- Traders - industries- entrepreneurs- professionals -entertainers, etc. it’s not a must for everybody in a tribe to become traders coz that even showed your sub-level reasoning faculty.

And you think Igbos are not involved in IT, industries, professionals, entertainment. Infact, igbos have far more entrepreneurs than yorubas. You think the world begins and ends in Lagos alone.
All those markets you mentioned don't even close to Onitsha, ariaria and nnewi markets.
You know the funny thing, at least 40% of traders in those markets you mentioned are Igbos.

This is what I keep telling Igbos. We are not our fathers who carry the guilt of the civil war on their head same as decent white folks feel guilt over slavery. We younger generation don't carry such shackles because we fought no damn war and understand that Igbos have had enough time to get over their mindless hatred of others.

They need to stop carrying on like babies and understand that younger generations of Yorubas don't factor the war into their thinking and only see misbehaviour, insults, tribalism and hate that must be checked and repelled.

Igbos are the parasitic of all the major tribes in Nigeria, they bring close to zero to the table. The northerners are great farmers, traders, and supply a great deal of labourer all across the nation, the Yorubas are well represented in all facet of life but the Igbos just want to make money by all means without doing anything.

You will never see them do anything that involves deep thinking and know-how but rather import substandard goods from China and put a burden on our forest.

I have been to all their potopoto state, majority of them are glorified villages, the reason you see them boarding the next available night bus to Lagos, Abeokuta, Ibadan, Kano, Abuja, Kaduna etc.
