Don't. Even as a gift, I wouldn't advise you to accept. Except you have a lot of garage space and just want to be known for stashing baby stuff. Babies don't sleep for long periods, so you are stuck with having to take them out every now and again and it's worse when they can only sleep with a nipple to their lips... Imagine what you'd do then...

Just don't.
Good advice

Good day mama’s sure we are doing great.am a new Mum of twins.pls I need all the lectures I can get from here..,
Please how good is sebamed baby soap

Congratulations mama ejima. May the Lord watch over them and strengthen you and hubby to nurture them. Regarding the sebamed, Sebamed has been so scarce for few months now. Please,be careful so you don't buy fake. My daughter was using Boot soap till when she had rashes and the doctor prescribed sebamed. She used it for about 6 months and I must say, I love the outcome. However, its so scarce and what is common now is the fake. So we are back to Boot which is also good although she still uses Sebamed cream. So, you can start with Boot as the rashes will definitely clear off with time. All the Best momma.

Good day mummies, how are our LOs doing, pls my senior colleagues, how long does this yellow poo last? My babies pass this poo like 4times daily thou not much but am concerned about it.

Please is there anyone here using this tommee Tippee bottle sterilizer? I see as a waste of money because I felt it won’t work as expected..please anyone that has used it shld enlighten me....

Mamas that had twins pls how did you cope without a nanny .. my review with my Dr has not been pleasant..like am loosing it angry angry

Awwww..So sorry for the stress dear. I nearly concluded I was lazy when I had my daughter. My mum stayed for two months and I just concluded I wasn't going to cope without her until I accepted the undeserving reality. You need HELP. Being a first time mum and a mom of twins? Please, you can't face this alone. Get someone as advised by other mommas who will all the chores if possible. You just take care of your children and yourself. You need to rest as much as you can as you are yet to recover. Facing all of this alone at this early stage isn't it please.

Hmmmm seriously they don’t know once the baby has taken their bath that’s all,I do the cleaning,I dressing the babies the laundries make food for them breast feed lay bed vertualy everything.. sending your hubby elder sister errand is the greatest insult they count the only help is wake me up at night to carry my babies when they are awake :-Xthis person knows I need help o don’t need to instruct her but since she feels it’s my work..I just made sure I prepare only what I eat..I can’t kill myself undecided

This is the problem with our mums / relatives these days coming for omugwo. They seem not to know the things that are needed most from them. You may even clean the entire roof and foundation of the house, but if you are not helping to hold the baby, so the mum can catch some sleep, especially in the days/weeks following delivery, then you relatively are of no use to the mum.
Ndo, mama I feel your pain. Perhaps you should point out to this helper that this is what you'd cherish of her to do the most?

Like Jazzy and GP said, if you want to go this route a pack and play is best. You use it for day sleeping and it doubles as a play pen when Baby is older. If this is your first child you also use it for subsequent children. Mine functioned well with my first. When he outgrew it as play pen around 10 months or so I packed it and will bring it out for baby 2. All the best

Good morning mamas, pls is it advisable to buy a baby cot. So many people have told me it's a waste of money, that they don't sleep in it. What do you guys think? I am thinking getting those small foldable beds with mosquito nets though so baby can co sleep with me and hubby.
Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by hunniesuzie: 7:45pm On Oct 13, 2019
You have a healthy active baby who is exploring his environment. Enjoy this phase because it will get worse better when he starts talking and questioning you. Just ensure you keep all dangerous things out of his reach or path. Please don't beat him. Apart from making him stubborn at this age you'll kill his curiosity. All the best.

Hello great mums in the house. God bless the fruits of your womb and your perseverance. Amen. Please help...
My little one is just 3months old and on exclusive breastfeeding.
For some days now, it has become a struggle to breast feed him. Whenever I give him breast, He ll just look the other way, like I can't force him.
He sucks his thumb and my SIL said that's the reason y he is refusing breast.. I don't know if that is true.
I have noticed that whenever I and DH is eating, he is always happy and salivating.
My breast milk supply is very ok....
Please help a ftm

My mum and MIL came the very day I gave birth. MIL didn't proof useful at all. She wanted to start acting as another baby that my mum will take care of together with the twins and me.

It was my husband that took necessary action. He took me and the babies with my mum to my own parents house, then called his younger brother to come take his mum back home.

I'm two months postpartum and I'm still with my parents. Hubby comes around every other day.

Anyone not useful should go back home biko and not stress you. You need rest not additional wahala.

HELLO MA, PLS KINDLY SHARE WITH US RECIPE FOR BABY WEIGHT INCREASE FROM 6MONTHS ABOVE..THANKS
What worked to me was constant feedback, here a few recipes.
There's a thread on recipes, created by a mum here, you can get so excited recipes from there too. I will

Ofada rice/ normal ricebcooked and blended with mango and apples, cool the apple for few minutes.
Ofada/normal rice with very ripe banana, blend it and address milk. I use Lactogen 2 I noticed it made my baby are weight. The rice and banana taste like ice cream. Make sure the banana is more than the plantain. Say 5 tablespoon of rice and 5 to 6 bananas.
Oats and bananas, add a little water and blend, add milk. I use Good morning oats.

Thanks Mama. I really appreciate. Her appetite is so low that she can't finish 150ml of pap and milk or milk and cereal. What should I do?

Should u maintain 100ml and feed constantly? What is she rejects her next meal?

Is multivitamin allowed? Otherwise what can she take to revive her appetite?
Yes please feed constantly every 3 to 4hrs
How old is she mummy?

He’s hyper and that’s that.

It’s typical For his age and the best bet is to streamline the energy as best as one can.

Schedule activities he can engage in like colouring or riding a bike or playing football
Outside.

He may like toys or scribbling

Buy a few plants he can begin to care for daily. This must be supervised

Ensure he’s fed on time and cut out sugar- Ribena, sweets and co from his diet

He must have a set sleep time at night and siesta during the day perhaps for an hour daily.

I find being more organised as a mum will help to manage this period/age and be less stressed.

Routine , routine and some
More routines will help.

See if a crèche or playgroup will take him
For a few hours even if once a week

Good luck wink
