saynotocultism:
This is my True story and i advise people to learn from this and stay away from cultism. lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

I am not a good writer, just try to understand me.

I was 19 when i got admission into the Delta state university Abraka to Study Geology . I had a cousin i had to put up with due to accommodation issues as my parents are poor and couldnt afford it at the time. They had to borrow to pay my fees and acceptance fees. Reading geology was very expensive as i had to pay for field works, books and all other materials. I struggled through my first year into my second. My cousin then dropped out of school due to financial issues. I was left all alone in Abraka and i made new friends . I had a girlfriend in school then and we call her Joy ( not her real name ). Joy was also dating a cultist ( A member of VIKINGSSS) . I got a call from Joy that i should come to her hostel and we should pass the night together. She told me she prepared my favorite food and i rushed down like a hungry lion. I got to her house and we had a good time and even sexx . Around 9PM, i heard a loud bang on her door and i asked who the person was, YOU DEY CRAZE, NA YOU GET THE ROOM, JOY COME OUTSIDE I WAN SEE YOU, that was the voice i heard behind the door. I looked at the time and it was late in the night . I picked up my phone to call a friend to come get me as i sensed danger but my phone went dead. I then sat down in the room and she assured me that all is fine. She went out to meet the guy and they argued loudly and some other boys came in and joined them. The next thing i heard was AROMATE wetin dey happen, i immediately knew i was in trouble. She came back in and was shouting at them and screaming from inside, I KNOW ONE FRIEND AGAIN NA BY FORCE. I told her i wanted to leave and she said i shouldnt leave and that it was safer to stay than go out that night. I told her its better to leave than staying in doors and that could bugle the door at night pretending to be robbers and shoot me. I gathered courage and left and immediately i got outside, i saw 5 Fierce looking men and i ran for my life, they chased me and stabbed me , i managed to escape with the injury. The next day, i reported to the police and arrest were made. The police men that came for raid where also member of the VIKINGSSSS, they made arrest and released them same day.

quite a piece. wen i dey kianse (ayez called my sch udi h. t) i was a member of the anti cult squad. we were more or less student police and we moved about with pump action rifles. there was a time we were attacked and our lodge was nearly burnt down. truth is some anti cult guys belonged to frats, like our ex director who was an apache, and often sought opportunities to humiliate axemen buh I was neutral and that didn't mean in any way I was soft. I messed them up at any given chance and obtained them when their Bleep up clear. we road with police and in hindsight we were the real boss. no be say we no dey observe ourselves or think well before we go on arrests but we were usually on top of our game. infact most of the cultists secretly loved our presence on campus as it deescalated things. before wars broke out we were usually there to calm things. even rugged cultists no wan die. to conclude, after I joined ACON, i moved into their lodge, and I had a pump action in my room. one afternoon, i was napping wen my phone buzzed. it was a girl who stayed in my former lodge.
'abeg come sch front. problem dey. somebody wan deal with me and my friends'
i told her I was coming but slept off again. it was only after her third desperate call that i finally got up and zombied into my clothes. i considered belling up one of my squaders, as the only one in the lodge was holed up with a girl but on a second thought i decided to go it alone, without my bull. I just dorned my camo cap, left the lodge then boarded a bike to school front.
when i arrived i walked straight to sch gate and belled the girls to come forth. they came, n explained that they were in the bank when the guy tried to get ahead of them to withdraw. they had exchanged words and the guy had threatened them. infact from the gate they pointed to where the guy was standing, faze cap drawn, shoulders haunched like a real thug. I told the girls to stay put, while i legged it across to where the guy was. even before i was close enough i identified him as a stubborn mafia guy. one of their top mobsters. but acon na acon. from where I stood, i beckoned at him, with an air of arrogance
'you, come here'

i called him the way u would call a smally n immediately, he began walking towards me aggressively. but wen he was close enough to identify my camo cap, i sensed some of d jaguda evaporate from his steps.
'u sabi me? ' i asked
'bros i sabi u. ' he replied humbly. truth is our squad was not up to twenty men so every cultist on campus observed us very well.
'good. ' i said 'why u dey follow my sister friends? ' he started to reply but i cut him off to let him know who was boss.
'no talk too much i said. 'any thing wey happen for bank don happen. no follow dem again. enter bike make u blow comot. if ever i get call say u dey mount any girl for this school our second meeting no go b like dis. '
'bros he said, taking off his cap. 'as u don talk am na so e go b. everything don settle' i stood dere and observed him till he boarded a bike and zoomed off. he never disturbed a girl again in dat school. that was d power we exhibited. ordinarily this guy was on two extra years, with a dangerous reputation for violence on his belt but he knew best to stay humble. we had a rugged anti cult director in our second campus. he was famous for leading his squad on night operations. dey kick down doors, n hold gun to d head of suspect. sometimes dey catch dem during sex n it gets all d more interesting. me i never used mine to bully sha. only if u play enter my trap i go take ur eye see pepper. as for wat op said initially about cultists paying each other off during wars, they also paid us off wen we caught them in a serious bleep, to avoid us hauling dia asses over to sars which was d last place dey wanted to end up. maybe later i might relate a case about the bucaneers which was about an initiation gone wrong, how we stormed dia island two days later n d investigations dat ensued.

I saw this trend about 3days ago that I so much became fascinated that I had to save this page. Saynotocultism, thanking you for sharing your story to at least let some people see the dangers in joining one.

I was only able to read to 10,but it was worth my time within the last 3days I have being reading. Special mention to I am Nobody for your continuous contribution.

Cultism can never be a choice, the youth should pls desist. I am a graduate since 2015,so if I add my voice to some saying no to cultism, you should no I have seen some instances even thou I am not a member.

I remember two particular guys that wanted me to join in year 2011. Today,I am a graduate, but one of those guys I talked about is near mad in the street of Akure today. The other whose father was a pastor ran away from Ondo state to save his head.

Youth,pls be wise.

Saynotocultism has finished telling his story. Lets not pressure him to invent new stories. What he has told is the truth and best we can do is learn from it and advise others. However, if anyone has a story to tell that will help our lost youths of this generation, please do not hesitate to share.

@ allan2, boss we dey wait for your gists as anti-cult.

Lemme be mischievous here. If you take my "attack" I won't be surprised or offended. So you say you are a grad yeah. To then go ahead to say reading the "trend" (thread actually) was "what" (worth) your time has left me in stitches. What kind of grads do we have these days? Then when HR staff say grads cannot write we all scream that they aren't saying the truth!

I was actually impressed when you replied with noted. That for me indicated a willingness to learn which is a very rare trait here on NL. Then u went ahead to ruin everything by saying I intend scoring cheap points. Really? U take my sarcasm laced post as an indicator that I want to score cheap points even after I had started my post with a caveat? Please o, let me be popular on a tech thread not on a mob thread

Word then was that those boys were maphites. They wanted to coup a don in his house. As in remove power from the present boss. In the process, the guy's girlfriend ran out and shouted "thief", which attracted attention.
One of the boys with them shot in the air to find a way through to escape. The other four were trapped. With the weapons on them, they were tagged thieves. The rest is the brutal mob justice meted on them. Very unfortunate and sad. May their souls find rest.
If only they didn't go on that journey, they would have been graduates today. One was a 19 year old. So sad. If you think they were not cultists, ask what youg men are doing around midnight with weapons.

Cultist or not we may never know. But I don't think they are
boss, you see,i suspected from the very onset that those kids were cultists who must have been on a very bad mission..

Legit students(i mean real students who are non-cultists)don't have the nerve to go and bust another student in his lodge, they might have beef, but taking it to the extent of going with two or three boys(they call it squad in cultist's parlance)to harass another student in his own lodge, real students don't do that.it's only cultists that have that kind of foolish confidence. Legit students fear of the security so-much, they won't think of going in this direction.

2)report said they leave with the victim's(the dude they went to meet in his house)phone. Ask from those in the know, cultists have the strange habit of collecting their target's phones(especially if it's a clean smartphone.they collect it from their and sell at ridiculous price, some cultists refer to it as 'obtaining'. If you don't believe, ask from people who are familiar with how cultists operate, they'd confirm it).

3)i heard some weapons were found on them,i don't know how true this is. But if it's true,my brother, now that's a very strong indication you've got hardened cultists on a really bad mission. Legit students don't go with weapons(not even a machete).most students will prefer to use the money to purchase a cutlass to buy food or play sports bets or even spend it on a lady in order to win her heart.

4)notice all through the beatings, non of their fellow students came to their aid. My guess, those four spoilt kids have terrorise import so much that even their fellow students will be glad an avenue came to dispose them. Trust me,in a full session, you dare not lay hands on a student, because his fellow students will Wade in to defend him.(unless the student is so bad into cultism that even his colleagues are play with whatever happens to him). Go to a student environment, you'd notice the students have so much confidence, some kids among them don't even run from cars, that's because they know their colleagues have gotten their back.

5)the person who shouted theif is another indication that those boys are actually cultists, they must have entered that house in such a bizarre way that someone was so scared and confused, the only thing he can do is to scream 'theif' loudly. Only cultists(and some SARS officers, but the SARS officers can be easily identified)enter a student lodge/another man's house in such a way that the inhabitants will be so scared.

i think this should be the longest post I've ever made since joining this forum typing sef hard me somehow.

nickshrapnel, this is another confirmation.i was not in port Harcourt but from what I heard,i made my analysis and believe those boys were really cultists(spoilt boys, see how they met their Waterloo). I'm surprised a lot of Nigerians actually believe those kids are innocent.how many innocent students have people seen matching into other's lodge to forcefully dispossess another student of his phone? Even if nepa officials come to students lodge, they come in a frightening way that the students their get scared. Although I don't believe that the boy they came to harass is also a cultist(if he was, then he's probably the fearful, inactive type who doesn't even like been around his gang). I don't sympathise with criminals,so I'll be very blunt here, those kids deserve whatever poo happened to them.they brought it on themselves. Who knows maybe if the crowd leave them alive, they'd later come back to kill the innocent lady who shouted 'thief' in a bid to protect herself?who knows if the crowd leave them alive, they come back to murder a lot of innocent children in that aluu community just to get back at the community?who knows maybe they'd even come back to declare arson on the community and set a lot of houses of innocent folks on fire? Their death is good riddance to bad rubbish. I only pity their innocent parents who struggled hard to give them a befitting education.

Guy take it easy. I have friends who are cultists but not active. One of them got bammed when he went to a party unknowingly it was a gathering of hardened cultists. I believe you have heard of forced initiations. Under those conditions, you yourself would be bammed because rejecting is getting killed. The society around us has made cultism the best choice for youths who want to be tough. So don't be too harsh on them. Those wey I no pity na those wey dey carry am for head. Those that go on to rape, kill, main, oppress, harass an perpetuate crime in the name of confra.

Those that go on to rape, kill, main, oppress, harass an perpetuate crime in the name of confra.

Las las, if you are presently in a confraternity, find a way to leave. Its not worth it.
frat is not worth it.just a band of criminals coming together to constitute nuisance.

Those that carry it on their head are worse.
