[quote author=chanceux post=83259055]Copied this from another forum. Someone's estimated CRS cut off based on selected possibilities as regards draw date. With the anxiety that comes with waiting for the next draw, I've also joined in making some analysis and if anything, this analysis right here seems logical

So, fast rewind to May 2019, when FST was drawn. CRS hit 470. The next set of draws done saw a shed of about 11points down to 459 over 4 draws. Notice an increase in ITA value from the then regular 3350 to 3600 then up to 3900. That was to cushion the spike in crs trend here; We can see our projected 471 dropping to 459 by December 4, if not 460 later in November 2019.

The events fuelling the influx of people will slow down soon. I hear Canadian graduates getting ITA, We see PNP rolling out a lot, Lot of people completing wes/iqas/ices/ielts and hitting the pool. Bulk of those in the pool in that 451-600 bound are below 460 but entered the pool anyways to secure their tie-breaker spot.

The dynamics of the pool doesn't really tell the true picture of what we are contending with but a whole lot is a fluke. We've seen the crs deflate irrespective of any initial spike, so we should be very optimistic.

Me I'm driving the score down with my mind and positive energy. 460 no be joke. I dont see the score sgetting sustained at a 470 or 466 sef. It will always come and kiss 459 again. At least we did 430 early this year. It's just a cycle.

Hello house.
Question please: “I opened my mutual funds account in June specifically for this purpose. I put in some money in July and the balance in October. Now I got ITA with the last draw. Do I need to state in an LOE that this account was opened specifically for this? Will the inflow be suspicious? What can I do to give the VO level of comfort.”

Hello, hope this is not absurd but I was wondering if I could get an estimate of how much you spent altogether migrating from Naija to Canada as a Pharmacist. And also if there's any special cgpa requirement
Spent about 950 for 2 ecas from pebc.
No need for cgpa just your bpharm and other requirements as seen on page 1.
Ignorantly paid for our first ielts from a company for 135k each angry with the help of this forum paid the 75k for 2nd ielts.
IOM fees for FAM 0f 3, 41k.*3.
PCC 9k for 2
Ppr/application fees for 3, 650k from gtb.
Start saving for your exams and study materials. God's grace to us all.

Interesting observation and positivity. I share the same optimism, and with the same optimism, I anticipate a draw on Wednesday next week plus another draw the following week.

It's possible to have back to back draws if IRCC wants to meet its immigration target for 2019. I feel one reason the cut off spiked was people panicked and jumped into the pool before the elections. It'll normalize soon, We'll be favoured

it spiked because
1- australia changed its immigration policy to rural, many just switched to canada as they already has ielts.
2- indian IT guys in the usa chasing EE due to trump and his rhetorics.
3- sibling points of recently migrated people
4- canada, uk, australia and usa intenational students applying for EE
5- unnecessary election panic

Yeah. In fact, after my post I was doing some research and found an article I want to post in pictures.

Before I post it. I noticed Saskatchewan has been doing draws frequently so they will be contributing to the spike we will see soon. Now, a lot of people will just get PNP ITA for the sake of getting it because most won't be able to apply successfully because of the 3months proof of funds rule on Sask. They will decline and may probably come and queue again, I'm not certain if PNP can nominate you more than once.

The pictures uploaded expands on what I said earlier. Stats from Cic news.

I just pray, the intervals between draws as well as the ITA issued will favor a reduction in crs scores early enough.

We still have 21k ITAs to meet the target for 2019. Although, the target has never been met, but it keeps moving closer due to awareness and acceptance.

The scary thing I just noticed again...

But unfortunately, going by the rate of ITA avg 3600, about 6 draws can only be done to meet the 21000 ITA target, except they want to go above target. Given the 2 week normal interval, there should be about 10draws left. But 6 is likely and I think that is why people are fighting to go in through PNP at all cost and the crs scores might stay up.

Sad! Still with optimism that I'm wrong.

2019 Target is 81,400. So far in the first 3 quarters, they've invited 21 600, 20 600 and 21 200 making it a total of 63,400 ITAs sent out. Meaning we have about 18000 ITAs left, right?

Hello guys.

You are all doing a good job on this thread.

I'm a newbie and want to know how to check points allotted to academic degrees (BSc, MBA, MSc), work experiences, etc.

Sorry if this question has been asked before but I would appreciate expert's response to my questions.

Thank you

So, that's even smaller than I said. Now, with the regular 3600 average ITA per draw, how many draws can be done this year? Just 5 draws. I just hope this isn't the reality.

With the way Sask is dishing out PNP to covet the remaining ITAs into their own province, people with 300+ CRS are jumping over those with a comfortable 458-9 to get ITA through EOI and additional 600points.
