Victornn:frankly there is no appointment date been given in sight. If your deadline for payment is far maybe you can stall a little till you are sure AD are being handed to prospective migrants. Cos it'll make no sense if you pay and you end up not getting appointment. As for BA omoh if you don't get AD by January I won't advise to pay. However once you get AD quickly go and pay. That thing fit hold you for waist sha so be watchful...woe betide you if the embassy anounce certain date for you few days before omoh nah to hands up |

Im going to a uni with tuition and had my interview already. 1- the consultant will not ask you to pay full tuition. Its not something they are concerned about but the school might ask you to pay part of the first semester before sending admission document 2- You dont have to provide those. Just fund your BA I wasn't asked to so i doubt if its required . Victornn: |

Immafrank:IN ADDITION TO MY PREVIOUS POST Information is Vital here and so is everywhere. What you need/looking for is always somewhere, you just need to connect with the right person/use the right keyword for searching. Some of our 9ja brothers here tend to hide information from their fellow 9jas even though it doesn't stop them from achieving their aim. So i tend to roll with more white people, in most cases, if you don't talk to them, they won't talk to you, so i always shoot first. A Brazilian friend of mine once sent me a job link when i told her i was looking for a part time job, it was a job related to my field and this company was looking for working students to work with some kinda data, no German needed. You will never find the job using google except you visit their website. Unfortunately, i didn't get the job but i was glad i applied as the interview taught me some new lessons on an international level. So don't feel too proud to ask for help/information, you never know the kind of information that fellow is holding. AFTER RESUMPTION for the first semester and registration of courses, you might wanna check the next semester module, talk to students that did the courses in the previous semester to know how far, This is important so you wont go and larimo one professor Albert Einstein especially when the course is not really related to your Bachelor degree. A German student once told me not to choose a particular professor for a course project supervisor, i asked other fellows and they said the same. If you have a knack for programming and you are proficient in Python, Java and JavaScript, you don't know what God has done for you. Also, if you studied something related to Media in Nigeria like Mass Comm, you might wanna check Masters in Media and Communication Science in TU Ilmenau, the application is online (no need to send hard copy docs) and the admission is valid for 2 years but you get to pay application processing fees of 25 euros. For online application for Geoscience courses, you might wanna check University of Bremen. There is masters in Geodetic Engineering at University of Bonn, the program offers 3 specializations, but i think its only for winter application but the application is online. Lastly, i have said this before and i will say it again, new applicants applying to uni assist (Masters), when sending your documents, look for courses in TU Berlin and University of Potsdam and apply there too, both universities are under uni assist but you don't need to pay processing fees as both universities have already covered the cost for their master programs. If you are going to state of Brandenburg particularly University of Potsdam, try and get your Residence permit in Berlin, you get 2 to 3 years, although accommodation might be a problem in Berlin. In Potsdam, you only get 1 year RP, for the second year, they might tell to fund another 9k euros to renew your RP. So make your research well. Your school ID card (either TU Berlin or Uni Potsdam) gives you free transportation that covers for Berlin-Brandenburg including all Trains and local buses., so no issue with Transportation cost. NOTE: if you graduated from Houdegbe North American University Benin Republic, don't bother applying to Germany as your school is not recognized here. |

gbens2000:I just tire...The whole thing looks scary Latter dey will be asking for deferred admission. Can't the missions just divide themselves into winter and summer.why should one be clashing with the other. Maybe dey just like rush hour tins but this is really not healthy |

Immafrank:Thanks for this invaluable tips, brother!. I have some questions, bro: Are TK and AOK public or private insurance organizations? Are Munich and Munchen same thing? I see them used interchangeably a lot. Regarding the emboldened, how person wan come take watch movies and unwind? What is thr average cost of watching a movie legitimately? Finally, how does a typical day look like for a typical student as regards study hours and work? I am thnking say lectures are from 9am to 2pm. Then we have the remaining days to ourselves so that those who want to work will do so from say 4pm to 7pm. I, typically, would then want to sleep till 3am and read till 7am before going to school. Does it always pan out this way? |

| Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by HighPriest0(m): 6:17pm On Oct 19, 2019 |
gbens2000:Summer applicants should not panic because of AD. The embassy officially starts giving out AD next year. I don't know why someone whose study is starting next year April/May should be worried. Summer semester normally has fewer applicants than winter. So everyone must get a date no matter how long. Those who have gotten a date for summer already are people in peculiar cases. |

Immafrank:Your posts have never ceased to be reavealing and eye-opening! I know a lot of emphasis have been laid on the usefulness of Programming skill, but still, we will be glad if you give some expositions of the advantages especially as it relates to your endeavours. I am presently learning the skill alongside the German language, so a little point in the right direction will be extremely helpful as well. Regarding the intricacies of RP, what can you say about the states of Baden-Wutternburg and Bavaria? I will be heading to one of those states for my Summer programme, so i will appreciate some information as well. Thanka brother! |

madenigga:Even if this endeavour will cost you 10m, it is still very much worth it..if the testimonies of folks who are presently there are anything to go by, the standard of living is high and you will get access to the good life most of us have not really experienced in Naija, even if you are financially well off. Not mentioning the international exposure, inter-cultural experience, possibility of learning a new language and skills and expanding your horizon. Regarding the prospects of getting a good job upon graduation, dont be discouraged by the ill new peddled by certain folks on here. People are still getting good jobs there, with purposeful upgrading of their skillset though. Even if you dont get something good in Germany, i am sure you can easily move to other choice countries in search of more greener pastures. God grant us our heart desires. |
