Hey I'm good thanks, hope you're doing well too. Are you in Sydney or coming to Sydney/WSU?

@All
I just upgraded my car and I need to sell my old car. It's a very reliable first car and it drives very well. I have driven it since last August with no issues at all, and it's well serviced. The price is very affordable with long Rego, PM me if you're in Sydney or coming to Sydney soon and you need a car. Sydney residents only. Thanks
Hello.
I am looking to get a car soon. where/How did you buy your car in Sydney?

Goodmorning guys

My visa refused came in yesterday

Application date 20/08/2019
School: Western Sydney with 50% scholarship

Reason for refusal: Insufficient Fund

My Sponsors where my Mum and a family friend.

Mums Account was 5m

Family friend's account is 11m tho is a corporate account. The embassy rejected the family friend's account because we are no way related and it will not favor them since i do not work with them and assessed my application based on my Mum's account. The did not mention anything about my scholarship. Could it be that they did not see it?

Please how long does it take for Western Sydney to refund school fees?

I don't know if I should reapply, please advise

I'm new here. I have an Msc microbiology, I intend applying as a PhD student with my wife as a dependant. We plan that she goes for graduate nursing program since she has B.Engr already.
Please what are our chances of getting visa grant and do we necessarily need Ielts?

Msc isn't pocket friendly talkless of PhD unless you are on scholarship or financial bouyant enough to fund your research, and as regard your wife, GTE won't fly for someone with engineering degree going for graduate entry in a different field but there's a way out just that it will cost you money and time. Let her apply for Msc in engineering related degree, and in her first semester, she should drop course to barest minimum thereby saving money and apply to another institution for graduate entry while onshore.
You will surely need IELTS along the line.

Please expatiate on not being pocket friendly, I am already discussing with potential supervisors for my PhD and they are offering scholarship in terms of graduate/research assistant.
I think the offer should take care of my upkeep.

I am a medical laboratory scientist, please can someone advice me on the schools and possible courses I can go for in Aussie and how to make the application cos I have been browsing through the different schools and I can't see the portal for application or is it only agents that can apply.

You can go through the PR route. Why student route?

Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Vincentosa: 10:57pm On Oct 25, 2019
Good evening family and friends.
It is quite some time now, I have been reading through the threads. I have these questions.
Firstly, let me explain what I have been up to since.
I got a 25% scholarship grant on tuition for M.sc in cybersecurity at the university of technology, Sydney, Australia sometimes in August. I have been given till 30th of Nov. 2019 to pay my deposit of A$14,520. I have a big brother in Sydney who will be willing go accomodate me for the whole study period. He is also willing to support me with some stipend.
I am also pursuing PR route awaiting opening of 491 Visa class. But unfortunately, my pte test I took today was not good for PR route. LRSW: 55:61:58:61, I understand this can only fly for studies which I might be using.
I also understand that if UtS were go be in a regional area i would have advantage for PR.
My question is what do I do? I am really very confused right now. Whether to proceed with the admission or sit for another pte to hit 85+ in all band for PR route. I have another fear, how will I be able to gather another N3.6m in 3months while studying to pay for my tuition fees? Has anyone here know someone who has taking this kind of risk?
IT occupations are very very competitive for PR route on offshore. I also have plans to take up a study in a regional area after MSC.
Please I need your candid advice and views on my situation.
I am married with a kid.
I am 35 while my wife is 28.
I work with a govt agency. Since uts is an AL1 institution, do I need to provide my bank acc? Or that of my brother who's in Sydney?

Big Thanks to the everyone one in this forum, I've been a silent follower and I must say I gained all needed info here to apply for my visa personally without an agent and to God be the Glory I got my grant on the 24th of Oct. It was a long wait, infact the longest 9months of my life. I front loaded all and submitted my application on the 31st of Jan for Feb 20 resumption at James Cook University, unfortunately I couldn't get the visa before resumption and my course of study didn't have a mid year resumption so i had to wait for a whole year. Had lot of exchanges with my Case officer from requesting yellow card after 2weeks of submission to requesting a fresh 3months bank statement of me and my sponsor 2months after submission. My Uncle(not same surname, but did an affidavit) was my main sponsor and I used my account also as I had tangible amount domicile in the account. I declared upfront that I had been denied US study visa couple of time before. I got an s56 request to explain why I was denied, surprisingly like a month after I got an s57 natural justice to explain myself as US replied them that I could be a security risk. Was scared and had to dig deep in my response. Oh, did I tell u guys I still applied for US study visa during this wait, sincerely I didn't know what I was thinking but having a valid i20 with scholarship tempted me to do that, we all know how expensive Australia fee is. I provided a detailed explanation and luckily it was good enough. A week ago I was requested to provide new COE and health insurance which I did immediately and a week after I got the good news. N.B I made sure I wrote a Solid statement of purpose, adequate financial backing(fixed deposit certificates close to a 100million and few thousand of dollars in my dorm account), letter from a local Govt as voluntary worker since 2015, I served during my NYSC at the local Govt primary health centre and I continued offering my service there pro bono. Been denied by US 4times in a 2years span didn't deter me and shouldn't deter anyone, just make sure your documents are in proper order and most importantly seek God's favour and grace. Heading to James Cook University early next year, incase anyone here is there or applying to study there i would like to create contact. Best wishes to all awaiting and preparing to.

Big congrats buddy.
Were u mandated by uni Tas to use an agent? Did u also just upload bank statement during visa application without being requested by CO? And it wasn’t it also needed during admission?
