It was a thrilling moment for the Abacha Family on Friday, September 13, 2019 as an Abuja, Northern Nigeria based Non-Governmental Organization “Empowerment of the Fallen Heroes Wives and Children Initiatives (EFHWCI) gave a posthumous leadership award to the widow of late Nigerian Head of State, General Sani Abacha, Her Excellency, HAJIYA (DR.) MARYAM ABACHA in commemoration of her husband’s service to nationhood.

The Abacha matriarch and the cream of her elegant children which includes first son, Alhaji Mohammed Abacha, first daughter, Hajiya Zainab Lado and second daughter, Hajiya Gumsu Bayero, Sadiq Abacha, Al-mustapha Abacha, and other family and friends wore their best mood and inspiring attires as they received a deluge of awards and accolades from the visiting NGO.

In this new clip, she spoke about her life after power, politics, governance and ambition. She rounded it up by saying that even though she was Nigeria’s First Lady for the 5 years duration of her late husband’s tenure but she never made monetary gain as she was busy doing charity.

Fallen heroes wives? Abacha a hero? Hmmmmm, Ịdị Amin would've been a diety if he was from Nigeria then. Anyway that's for another day. To the main topic, hmmmmmm, really? Wow that's nice to hear. Please someone should remind me again who has this infamous quote, 'No matter how poor we become, we will never be as poor as Dangote'.

Coming from late Gen. Abacha's wife, I am caught in between crying and laughing. With due respect and given her age, somebody should, please, explain clearly to her what STFU means.

My own problem is why Lai Mohammed has been quiet since this second tenure. Zombies are hungry and need to be fed with more technical lies.

Why won't she say that, when idiots in the name of news agencies and bloggers are busy giving her attention!

Haaaaa woman! Stop saying rubbish joo. I remember when EFCC recovered some stolen money belonging to the Nigerian people from your family and a few days later , you said you can never be poor in your life again, that what they claimed they collected from you was just meagre, compared to what you had.

Your husband was the most corrupt military officer ever lived. Your sons...i remember very well..were in charge of oil well licence issuance that time. They were living large in Nigeria. James ibori was one of their friends then. In fact, they were in the control of nnpc. I was shocked when Buhari said your husband wasn't a corrupt man yet, he collected the money stolen by him, as released by the swiss govt and used it to finance our budget. I cannot forget the Abacha days in a hurry. This woman was the ruler in aso vila that time, just like madam peace...in fact, hers was worse than patience. It was almustapha and this woman that were in charge of nigerian affairs . The only benefit we derived from the devilish government was the creation of my state of Ekiti. I was in the students' common room that time as a jambite to watch NTA news hour, during which he announced the creation of my state.

Aren't we tired of these fulanis from Niger republic enough? She didn't even deny the fact that she hails from niger. The earlier we leave these parasites , the better for us as a people.

This people no dey fear fa!
You never made monetary gains because your husband Mr sani Abacha was up and running.. Busy staching money that your 50th generation wouldnt finish

It is so sad that you are getting a deluge of awards and accolades whereas you ought to be cooling off in a correctional center...
Maryam the reason why you are still taking is what I can' t fathom.

We know what you mean when you say charity"? Cos the people that benefitted from it are billionaires today
