The truth is that, court ruling on maintenance of status quo does not really matter, when NNPC is ready APL will be released.

Maintaining Status quo does not even mean NNPC should halt the process.

For those of us that had their interview on the 4th, if you can still remember, their was this tall HR guy who was directing the candidates in block Ć to ensure the verification process was smooth. A lady managed to leave out her original waec result but came along with photocopies. The guys responsible for verification rejected her but then she met up with the guy I mentioned above. In addressing the problem he asked the lady if she can email the original copy before 12th December. She said yes. So he now directed the verification guys to include the clause on the lady's file.

If we are to go by what the nnpc staff told the lady, I think that APL will be out before that date. Probably three or two weeks before December 12th.
December 12th is likely the date for commencement of documentation/induction. Then resumption proper will be in January next year.
Makes sense to me if you ask me!

But I don't think that deadline is realistic anymore considering the circumstances surrounding this recruitment now.
But I'm sure successful candidates will definitely be contacted this year

Experienced hires ought to give a month notice for resignation after apl release before induction starts which should take three weeks. Except if they dont permit them. They may also want to shorten the induction to two weeks.

Worst case is that the notifications come in anytime this year while the induction is moved to next year.

I see no reason why they should not go ahead and release apl if status quo is being maintained. The real delay to me is coming from them. The lawyer filed his suit since april and NNPC filed their counter on the 15th of October and their lawyer said he was sick and did not even regularise his counter before the court prompting adjournment. Lets watch and see sha.29th is almost here

You still don’t get it do you? There’s no circumstance surrounding this recruitment. Nnpc are not ready to issue APL. Once they are, they would.
It’s likely we get notified in the coming week or upper week.

If there is no notification next week, then it is as good as postponing the process end till next year.
