Please I want to use just a waist coat for the my wedding cos I am not always comfortable with a blazers suit. Pls is it out of place

The jacket adds some formality to the ceremony and can easily be ditched, immediately after.
Nothing really, can ever be out of place though, so long as you're comfortable and it's your event, do you hun.

Lots of suits come with waistcoats anyway, so you may as well just buy one of those and see if your mind changes for whatever reason (maybe looking different from the groomsmen) as the day draws closer....

Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
