Only B2B draws or increase in number of ITAs can bring the CRS points down this year.... it keep getting tougher. Damn
That means all & sundry should from now on aim 470+ whether it comes down or not. Stay positive however!!

I was actually waiting for this day. Viola, the day is here. So Ednut1, hurry up make we go join Whizqueen and have a reunion in Canada. I am off to the other room "Living in Canada" grin

Congratulations Ayo, I’ve been a fan since your ACca/Ican thread. See you in Canada soon, I hope you’re coming to Ontario? Cos everyone is running to Alberta now embarassed

Hello guys.

I am totally new to this immigration system. I sat to IELTS once, I just got my result and it's perfect. I need to boost my CRS score. I have a B.Tech Chemistry and I need an additional certificate to boost my score as I don't have a master's degree.

Which exam is best for me please? Is CIMA advisable?? I have a free November and December so I can focus 100% on any exam I decide to write.

Please advise.

Keep hope alive guys.
During May it dropped by 5 , 3 , 2 , 2
May this 475 will drop to 470 or 469, then may be 457 by December.
But lesser PNp and one back to back can change the game.
If bulk PNps are not issued early 2020. We can witness regular 450s again.

Use the search bar to check BCS or check page 1 of this thread. the next exam is March 2020, if you are swift enough you might be able to write it.

You can explore PNP as well..
Meanwhile, how old is your hubby now and how about considering him as PA?

he is 33 and I'm 31 I have a master's and he has double certificate. That's how his score got to 448. BTW which PNP? We already filled Sask and PEI, Sask seems like a long thing because I know people that got NOI that have not moved forward and PEI never do serious draw. We don't live in the we city that's why he can't tutor me

The kind of panic the next draw will create will be unprecedented. angry However, pre-ITAns, please keep hope alive.
Like I said before, today’s cut-off will unsettle many people. But fear not pre-ITAians; whatever goes up must come down.

Finally it my turn to celebrate I attempted IELTS 3 times and finally got my good grade on the third try. My first attempt was in July and my score was S8/L8/W6.5/R7.5. I sat for it again in September and got S7.5/L8.5/W6/R8.0. I was so frustrated because I had sat for the exam over 2yrs ago and passed on the first attempt. My husband was of the opinion that I should register again and with IDP, since I did the others were with British council. He felt the examiners would be a bit more lenient but I was of the opinion it didn't matter what organization I registered with I just needed to work on my writing skills. My husband was on my Case to retake the exam but I refused. I decided to do some research on Nairaland and I a lot of people recommended @johnnybravo1990 as a good tutor. Instantly created a Nairaland Acct, so I could contact him. Thank God he was available to tutor me for 2weeks before my exam. I didn't register for the exam until a few sessions with him, I needed him to guarantee me that I was on the right track to getting a good grade because I could not imagine failing the exam again. He convinced me to register on the 3rd lesson. The 2 weeks was amazing and I can't thank all those who took out time to also share their stories, which help me get the help I needed. My last score was S8.5/R8.0/W7.5/L8.5
If you are having problems with writing @johnnybravo1990 is a fantastic tutor.

Yes, CIMA is advisable and can be completed by December depending on how determined you are.

Register with cima on https://www.cimaglobal.com/Starting-CIMA/Starting-CIMA/Registration/ fee is 77£. Please pay online, if you pay to the Nigerian office, your registration will take weeks.

2. Send your credentials to CIMA. you'll get the email to send it after registration

3. Study for your exams with Astranti.com and Opentuition.com

4. Exam registration is 70£ per paper.. Exam is electronic, you choose a convenient time, date and center ( any pearsonVUE center).,The various centres and their addresses will appear during registration, so you can choose a center near you. DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY TO THE TEST CENTER.. You're to book for your exam atleast two days to the exam day.

5. You will get a provisional result after each exam, then details will be uploaded to your account after like 2 days.. pass mark is 100/150. There are 60 questions for 2hrs for BA1-3.. then 85 questions for BA4, 2 hrs

6. You're to write BA1 to BA4 in order to get the certificate in Business accounting which you'll evaluate with wes.

7. On how long it will take, depends on you.. you can check the syllabus and study materials to know how long it can take you to cover it.. However, it took me about 6 - 7 weeks

8. When you're done with your 4 exams, you'll wait for like two days for it to be updated...Then you can register with WES

9. Once you have gotten your WES reference No, send an email to cima to prepare your transcripts and letter of good standing.. Also tell them you want to arrange for a courier service.. This is to expedite the process because cima uses regular post which takes weeks to get to Canada.. Follow up with a call to CIMA.. I requested for mine and it was ready for pick up the following day.. Remember to put your WES reference no while booking the courier.. I paid about 65£ for the courier and it got to WES in 3days...

For more info.. visit https://www.cimaglobal.com
