Unit cost will also depend on the method of block molding, if u will be using machine or hand mold blocks

Okay! I know polychrome and I don't supply it. its sprayed on with a machine and is more smoother than marble trowel. They spray on different colored particles.
Ask about it's dirt retention level and cleanability though.

The following have access to building construction in Nigeria.
Architect as first man
Structural Engineer as second man
Builder as third man.
The last two duties are Project managing(for project manager) and Quantities Surveying(for Quantity surveyor).
Any of the first 3 can be the contractor as the case may be.

Regardless of the professional in charge,an architect been the designer will always be needful to carry out his duties where necessary,the same goes to a structural engineer in the aspect of iron works where clarifications are needed.

Bcs OP is with the building drawing already done by the architect/ structural engr.

In that case, the quantity of satin would be lesser. I supply and recommend experienced painters that have proven themselves to me over time but if you're not on ground, I could handle them on your behalf since I would be responsible for recommending them.
I gave best price for good quality products. my matte could pass for some other satin, so even these products have different qualities.
You could prime the building instead of screeding and still get a good result.
I've supplied primer for several buildings and you would think it was screeded.

Both internal and external was primed and painted satin and matte respectively.

yes you can - if you go through my thread, i once shared a 3 bedroom design and ask any1 interested to use it.

the 3 bedroom was on a 50 by 50 land also...

What is the estimated cost savings per block in molding blocks on site vs purchasing specially made blocks?
For the sake of analysis, lets say we need 20k (twenty thousand) blocks and space is available on site to stack it....

1) What is the best unit cost (and savings) we can achieve if we mold compared to buying from the market at btw N200-N220 per block?

2) What are the materials required and quantities to mold 20,000 pieces of 9" blocks on site?

edit: Machine will be used for the molding due to qty required (over 20k) and to get good quality.

Now Firstly; Is good you mold it on site to get good quality ,because if you're to buy of standard it would cost you more infact you may not see it at the range of 200 or 220 .Though region determines.

2nd on materials ; You need like 3.1tonne to 3bags of cement for 100blcks.
35 per bag
Cost you 19,000 to 20,000

Then if you're to buy of the same quality you mold @ rate of 220 to 250 .

If u are molding with machine like op said, i don't think there is much difference in cost.
@bold i think it is actually the opposite, u buy blocks to avoid delay, molding do take sometime
